Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reports that the Spurs, Jazz, and Timberwolves are in talks that would see Josh Howard go to San Antonio, C.J. Miles and Jamaal Tinsley to Minnesota, and Wayne Ellington along with Danny Green to Utah.
He also writes that while no deal is imminent, talks are ongoing and it is likely that draft picks and more players are added to the deal.
Makes sense for the Spurs, get some size in the paint to go along with Duncan, Blair and Splitter. They have Leonard and Neal, so I guess Green was expendable. Utah gets a nice young player in Green, and Minnesota gets a nice guard with CJ Miles.
Josh Howard is a SF and doesn’t offer much “size”
i know, but their only SF is Jefferson, they have a need in that area. He plays the PF at times, thats not his natural position but they can put him there when they need to.
hope this will help the jazz nab the 8th spot
