With the 2012 draft order now finalized, barring further trades, mock draft season begins in earnest. We'll be publishing our own mock draft in the coming days, but until then, there are plenty of post-lottery mocks out there to hold you over. Check out the mock drafts below to see who a few prominent NBA scribes and draft experts think your favorite team will select….
- Chad Ford (ESPN)
- Jonathan Givony (Yahoo!)
- Jeff Goodman (CBS Sports)
- Steve Kyler (USA Today)
- Scott Howard-Cooper (NBA.com)
- Sam Amick (SI.com)
- Sean Deveney (Sporting News)
- Matt Moore (CBS Sports)
- Christopher Reina (RealGM)
- Joe Kotoch (SheridanHoops)
Although none of these mocks are significantly different from the rest, they're worth comparing for a few notable differences. Opinions vary on how Charlotte will use the #2 pick, with Thomas Robinson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and Bradley Beal all receiving votes. Meanwhile, Andre Drummond and Dion Waiters are among the most divisive prospects with lottery potential — Drummond was penciled in anywhere from third to 10th in the above mocks, while Waiters was listed as high as eighth and as low as 17th.

No love for nbadraft.net? Their mocks are always one of the best
There are definitely dozens of others out there we could link, and we’ll probably mention plenty more over the next few weeks. For now, I stuck to mocks from writers and sites we frequently cite, and ones that included analysis for each pick.
