Within the last week, both Sam Smith of Bulls.com and Bradford Doolittle of ESPN.com concocted trade scenarios in which the Bulls acquire Tyreke Evans from the Kings, increasing speculation about such a deal. But Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio hears from multiple sources that there's nothing to the idea, and that it's not something that's being discussed by the two teams. That tidbit comes from Amico's Thursday column, and he's back with another piece today, so let's take a look at the highlights:
- There are rumblings that the Bulls could be looking to trade up in the draft to land a shooting guard like Dion Waiters, Jeremy Lamb, or Austin Rivers. As I wrote earlier today, if the Bulls are eyeing a two guard at No. 29, it's more likely to be someone like John Jenkins, Jared Cunningham, or Doron Lamb.
- After withdrawing from consideration for the Bobcats' coaching job, Jerry Sloan could enter the mix for the Trail Blazers' opening, says Amico.
- The Blazers are open to trading either of their lottery picks, Amico hears from sources familiar with the club's plans.
- Potential suitors for Jamal Crawford, who will decline his player option, include the Heat, Clippers, Kings, Knicks and Cavaliers.

Austin rivers would be perfect fit for the bulls. I would imagine they would have to trade into the top 15 for him which might mean their 29th pick and the rights to marotic to start. But he could handle the ball until Derek comes back and those two would be very very good back court.
He’s an undersized shooting guard who has amazing potential but you cannot ask him to step in as a rookie and fill Roses shoes. A veteran guard signing and them drafting at 29 seems most likely.
