Heat forward Mike Miller has not told teammates he will retire at the end of this season, as has been reported by ESPN, writes Ethan J. Skolnick of the Palm Beach Post.
Despite a serious back injury that's kept Miller's minutes down and limited his on court versatility in these playoffs, the 32-year-old veteran does not know what the future has in store, but he does have three years remaining on his contract.
“At this point, everybody’s a little banged up,” Miller told the Post. “Everybody’s going through things. I’ll re-evaluate my health after the season. But I don’t have anything set up. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Currently in his 12th season, Miller is averaging 4.9 PPG on 37.5% shooting from the three-point line in these playoffs.
