The amount of rumors circulating around the Houston Rockets is dizzying to say the least. They currently have picks 12, 16 and 18 after making two draft-related trades in the past few days. There are multiple rumors about them trying to move into the top five of tomorrow night's draft, most frequently being connected with the Kings at 5. They could plan to use that pick or they could be trying to stockpile picks to make a run at Dwight Howard. Right now, for us, it's a waiting game. Let's round up the latest Rockets rumors here:
- Chris Mannix of SI.com, via Twitter, says that there isn't much draft day anticipation in the Dwight Howard camp. Mannix is told "emphatically" that Howard will not re-sign with Houston if he is traded there.
- Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld, also via Twitter, hears that should the Rockets not be able to pry Howard from the Magic, they will turn their trade focus to Rudy Gay and/or Josh Smith.
- Bill Ingram of HoopsWorld says that Kyle Lowry expects to be traded in the next 24 hours. Ingram says the Kings, who pick 5th, and the Raptors, who pick 8th, are the frontrunners.
- In an ESPN Insider piece, John Hollinger takes a look at the Samuel Dalembert trade for Houston and analyzes where they go from here.

If they can’t get Howard why don’t they go after Gasol centered around Lowry and a first rounder?
I would rather send that package to Atlanta for Josh Smith.
If they get Howard they will have the money to sign D-Will Right?
Depends on who they package. They’d have to clear some salary and maybe have to amnesty someone on their current roster.
