The Rockets and Magic are further from completing a deal than has been speculated, reports NBA.com's David Aldridge. It's been rumored that Houston had made the decision to amnesty Luis Scola so that they could take on several of Orlando's terrible contracts, but they're apparently only willing to take back one. Also, they're only willing to give up one of their three first round draft picks.
- Should Dwight Howard be traded to Houston in the near future, the Rockets have asked Hakeem Olajuwon to speak with Howard in an effort to persuade him to sign long term, according to FoxSports.com's Chris Tomasson. Olajuwon says he will speak with Howard if a deal goes down. In a workout last summer, Olajuwon says Howard told him there was one team the center had his eye on, and it wasn't the Nets.

What would Orlando be asking in terms of trade compensation? It may be too rich for Chicago unless there’s a guarantee that Howard resigns.
Dallas, they have no history of great centers (HOF)

I’m glad the media is dropping the “daily D12” comedy show. With Howard and Orlando both playing divas, I think nobody gives a rat’s butt where he goes anymore…BYE-BYE!
Dwight Howard should have a reality show on Bravo this year … insanity
