The Magic and Nets are reportedly working to put together a multi-team deal that will send Dwight Howard to Brooklyn. The Cavaliers and Clippers could be a part of the mega-trade but nothing has been cemented yet and other clubs could be roped in to make the swap a reality. Here's the latest on D12 and the Magic..
- The trade talks are moving along but nothing will be completed tonight, tweets Howard Beck of the New York Times. However, the Magic are reviewing Brook Lopez's medical charts, which can be taken as positive sign.
- While the Nets may be closing in on a deal for Howard, the Rockets refuse to give up on landing him, tweets Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. Houston is gathering more assets to try and entice the Magic to engage in talks.
- While the Nets are still working to include the Cavs in a potential deal, they're making progress with two other possible scenarios to find a home for Kris Humphries, a source told Wojnarowski.
- Bob Finnan of The News-Herald (via Twitter) also hears that the deal won't go down tonight but talks could be resolved by Wednesday.

There is a report tonight that the Timberwolves may now be included in the deal with Kris Humphies (who is from Minnesota) and/or Marshon Brooks coming to Minnesota. It’s assumed that Nets/Magic are after the Wolves first round pick in either 2013 or 2014.
