With free agency in full swing, and news and rumors coming at a frantic pace, it's easy to lose track of which players have agreed to contracts with which teams. Hoops Rumors is here to help, with our brand-new 2012 Free Agent Tracker. Using our tracker, you can quickly sort through the offseason's contract agreements, sorting by team, position, free agent type, and a handful of other variables.
A few notes on the tracker:
- Since the July moratorium extends into next week, very few of the deals you see in the tracker at the moment are finalized yet. As signings become official, we'll continue to update and modify the data as needed.
- Likewise, contract lengths and amounts are still unofficial, so our data based on what's been reported to date. Contract amounts aren't necessarily fully guaranteed either.
- Restricted free agents that have agreed to offer sheets won't be listed as "signed" until their current teams decide whether to match the offers. However, those players' names will be linked to their offer sheet agreement in the tracker. For instance, if you're browsing restricted point guards, you'll notice that Jeremy Lin's name is linked to his agreement with the Rockets, although the Knicks are expected to match it.
