Now that new Magic general manager Rob Hennigan has spent a couple weeks on the job, the team will turn its attention to hiring a new head coach. Joshua Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports that the Magic are expected to interview Michael Malone, Brian Shaw, Quin Snyder, and Jacque Vaughn for their head coaching opening.
It's not clear whether there are additional candidates on the list, or whether additional candidates will be added to the search, but Orlando figures to conduct interviews for those four over the next week, says Robbins. Hennigan and the Magic will be looking to replace Stan Van Gundy, who the team let go earlier in the offseason.
Most of the names on Orlando's list aren't new coaching candidates — Malone, Shaw, and Snyder were all interviewed by the Bobcats before Charlotte hired Mike Dunlap. Vaughn, meanwhile, has been an assistant coach for the Spurs for the last two seasons, and briefly played in Orlando during his NBA career.

Brian Shaw and Mike Malone should easily be the front runners.
