TUESDAY, 1:06pm: Camby has updated his wish list, replacing the Celtics with the Nets, tweets Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports. The timing is a little odd, as Brooklyn committed its mid-level exception to Mirza Teletovic today, so Camby would have to sign for the bi-annual exception or veteran's minimum to end up in Brooklyn.
The Rockets, Knicks, Heat, Spurs, and Mavericks are Camby's other options.
MONDAY, 1:08pm: Returning to Houston is Camby's top choice, says Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports Florida (Sulia link).
11:21am: Jared Zwerling of ESPNNewYork.com hears from a source close to Camby that the big man is prioritizing a starting role as he decides on a destination (Twitter link).
SUNDAY, 8:38pm: Haynes has updated his report to include the incumbent Rockets in the group to go along with the Knicks, Heat, Spurs, Celtics, and Mavs.
7:40pm: Marcus Camby has narrowed his choices to the Knicks, Heat, Spurs, Celtics, and Mavericks, a league source told Chris Haynes of CSNNW.com. The unrestricted free-agent center recieved calls from several other teams after July 1st but the source says that Camby is only considering teams in contention for a title.
The 38-year-old center spent the final 19 games of the 2011/12 season with the Rockets after being shipped over from Portland. The big man does not plan on taking any visits at the moment as he believes that he knows exactly what he is looking for.
Camby averaged 4.9 PPG, 9.0 RPG, and 1.4 BPG in 59 games for the Trail Blazers and Rockets last year. Back in April, the veteran publicly said that he enjoyed his time in Houston and would have liked to return.

I would love to have Camby come back to Massachusetts and play for the Celtics
He would be a perfect fit at this point.
Couldn’t agree more.
if he signed with miami, im guessing it’d be for the veteran minimum, right?
Wouldn’t mind seeing him back in a Knicks uniform. After all these years he could still probably give the Knicks a solid 15 minutes a game doing things Stat and Melo don’t always do (rebounds, blocks).
Celtics….Cuss Dog…..bring it Minuteman style
Da Spurs! Man Duncan at PF, Camby at C, Kawai Leonard at SF, Danny Green at SG, and Parker at the point. Man that is a great starting five. If you could get Camby and also keep Diaw, Stephen Jackson, Blair, The Red Rocket, and Splitter would make a great team. Would it be enough to win it all I don’t know but the way Camby rebounds and doesn’t need to score a ton would be a great fit.
