The Warriors met with Brandon Roy on Sunday and are seriously interested in signing him, but they're concerned with both his health and price tag, writes Contra Costa Times reporter Marcus Thompson II. At one time, Roy was represented by current Warriors GM Bob Myers.
According to Thompson, the Warriors have about $4MM to spend before heading into luxury tax territory, and the team doesn't want to use it on a player who may not be 100% healthy.
If Roy can pass a physical in a second meeting with the team, the Warriors are "definitely interested" despite having other roster holes to address.
