We at Hoops Rumors wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. While many of us connect today’s holiday to football, there is plenty to be thankful for in the basketball world. For starters, there is the entertainment the Warriors seemingly provide each time they play (and win).
Our question of the day is an easy one to digest: What are you most thankful for regarding your favorite NBA team so far this season?
As someone who grew up rooting for the Knicks, I (surprisingly) have a few things to be thankful for so far this season. What we appreciate the most are usually things we did not anticipate. That’s why I’m thankful the Knicks drafted Kristaps Porzingis because he has been a sensational double-double machine and someone who could possibly help lead the team to a playoff spot.

For my lakers I’m thankful for this season is nothing. That’s it. Happy thanksgiving
Your first-rounder next summer is top 3 protected, so if things get bad enough you can be thankful for that.
Until Cleveland somehow still ends up with that number 1 pick….lol
But the hopefully the lottery doesn’t screw us. I guess I’m thankful for the Wizards trading us the 46th pick and we got clarkson.
For my Raptors, I’m thankful that our off-season moves all seem to be playing at a high level, and the increased defence hasn’t cost us a ton of offence. Happy Thanksgiving American neighbours!
The defense has been key, especially because of the signing of Biyombo.
Pat Riley, first and foremost. 13 years of Dwyane Wade. Chris Bosh getting through that scary blood clot situation and being back on the court. Somehow having Justise Winslow drop to us in the draft. Magically finding David Robinson (Hassan Whiteside) for free. Same with Tyler Johnson. As a Heat fan, I guess there is a lot to be thankful for lol
As a Cavs fan I’m thankful that any injuries have been minor dings and that Kevin Love is taking over as an alpha dog so that LBJ doesn’t have to do as much.
His workload will drop even more when Kyrie Irving comes back, which should be soon. There are many reasons for Cavs’ fans to be thankful.
LeBron played 40 minutes against Toronto….
I’m thankful that I still get to enjoy Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker playing at a high level.
