February 25: The Bucks formally signed Toupane this afternoon, the team announced via a press release on their official website. Their roster is now full at 15.
February 23: The Bucks will sign small forward Axel Toupane to a 10-day contract, tweets Chris Reichert of The Step Back.
Toupane has been playing for Toronto’s affiliate in the D-League, where he is averaging 16.1 points and 3.9 rebounds through 27 games. His only NBA experience came in 21 games for the Nuggets last season.
Milwaukee has a roster spot open after trading center Roy Hibbert to Denver earlier today. The Bucks received a protected 2019 pick in the deal.
Nooooooooo
Why didn’t the Bucks go after PF Terrance Jones? He was just released by NO! OR at the very least, Sign SG/SF R.J. Hunter from the D-League? He has more NBA experience. If Milwaukee plans on keeping Toupane, Will they finally release Vaughn??? Well, It seems just like last year, and the year before, and the year before, etc., etc. Lottery pick again! But, at least they will have a New Arena that the public gets to pay for the next 20 years! Kind of like the Milwaukee Brewers? Pity Seattle didn’t get the Bucks, They could have called the “The Seattle “Starbucks!”
The Bucks have 3 PF, in Beasley, Mirza, and Maker.
calm down buddy, we have enough bigs lobbying for minutes. vaughn didn’t pan out, okay so? Johnny flynn didn’t pan out, hasheem thabeet, should Minnesota and Memphis lose teams also? and every city pays for every stadium
Except for the Warriors new stadium in San Francisco
one stadium, thanks for helping my point
The Bucks also have Giannis, Brogden, Dellavedova Terry, Vaughn, Middleton, as Guards. Maker is now playing Center. As is Henson, Hawes, Monroe.
“And Snell, also a Guard” Beasley should be considered a SF, Not a PF. The Bucks could also had save some money by cutting Teletovic, and Vaughn. Toupane and Jones are both younger than Teletovic. and both hustle more., than Vaughn and Teletovic.
@ Bucks fan, Were not Buddies! They eat biscuits and bark at the moon! Maybe you like giving money away? I for one do not! I really don’t care about Minnesota, and Memphis. I don’t pay taxes there. as far as Every City pays for their own stadium, Sure, With tax payers money, if they want to or not. People in Wisconsin are still paying for Miller baseball park, Where the Last place Milw. Brewers play. That should have been paid off in 2013, but, Since that idiot of a Gov. keeps kicking the can down the road, It won’t be paid off until 2020. That probably makes sense to you? Now the bucks re getting a new arena? When was the last time they had a winning season??? Now, Wisconsinites will be paying close to $500 Milion for a new arena, practice arena, and surrounding areas. Just who wants to see a losing team, in a new arena? YOU?? Oddly enough, The Gov. took $250 Million from education, (Actually, he has taken over 1.1 Billion so far) in Wisconsin, and gave the same $250 to the Bucks? It seems apparent Sports and entertainment, are much more important than education here?? So, Unless you are from Wisconsin, worry about what your team is doing, and how much YOU are paying for others to entertain themselves, with YOUR money?? How’s that “Buddy??”
You should probably stop watching sports. You clearly dont like them
If you ever have watched a game at County Stadium or the BC you know how terrible the stadiums are. It doesn’t make you want to go to a game (good or bad season) bc youre over paying for a subpar experience. Milwaukee is a small market team that has loyal fans, fans that don’t mind paying for a better experience. Miller Park is an amazing experience and ballpark. We tailgate before, during, and after games and we know there will never be a rain out or frigid temps. If you actually saw the change Miller Park brought to the Brewers, it might change your perspective just a little bit on what this new arena can do for the Bucks who desperately need a change from the old BC.
@ Formerlyz, I don’t care for todays NBA, NFL, or MLB. To much politics, and Overpaid atheletes. If you don’t mind paying to watch a losing team, or watching a say, NBA player making 30 Million a year, and can’t make “Free Throw!” Great, OR a NFL player making 120 Million and missing blocks & tackles,, Throwing interceptions, fumbling, etc, Great! OR a MLB making 150 Million and strinking out, Or can’t play because he has a cold? or, “Turf Toe?” Great! “I” prefer NOT to watch these Pansies, and Diva’s. I enjoy sports, Just NOT what’s being played today. Its NOT sports, It Entertainment!! And Not very good entertainment at that!!
@ nosoddycu. I;vee been to County Stadium, I’ve also worked at Miller park for a year and a half. It has become a sewer. And guess who is making it that way? The PLAYERS Themselves! Look at any dugout, Disgusting, The Locker rooms are just s bad. Their maintenance team is a joke, Now, Just what change did Miller park bring to the Brewers? It hasn’t helped them win any more games? When was the last time They had a winning season? I’ve seen the change at Miller park, Its in horrible condition, for only being 6 years old. Look at the roof, It doesn’t work all the time, look at the condition of the park itself, the bathrooms, floors seats, etc. If YOU enjoy those conditions, Good for you, I for one didn’t. Ask any member of “Performance Clean” The cleaning Co. (A sister group of Maular Cleaning Co.) Where the bathrooms are. None can tell you. Look at the stalls themselves. Again, If YOU enjoy taking your family there Great! Miller park did nothing to improve Ryan Braun batting average. It only help him discover PEDS then lie about it, Yes, he’s a great role model for the kids right? (@ 125 Million dollars!) Now, Exactly what is a new arena going to do for the Milwaukee Bucks? That the Bradley Center can’t do? Jane Pettit, BUILT the Bradley center, without ANY donations, as she did with the Pettit Center ice skating rink. So, If you don’t mind paying for a New arena Great, How about those of us who don’t want to continue to see a losing team play, year after year NOT pay? Then you can tail gate all you want, there will be plenty of room no doubt!!
you need to calm down the problem in the NBA is the superstars like KING JAMES CP3 DURANT and all the other stars want to play together so they con win championships when was the last time you saw a team not named SPURS, WARIORS,CAVS, in the NBA FINALS.
Heat, mavs, lakers, have all won In the past 7 years…
the problem in the NBA is the stars CURRY,DURANT, CP3,KING JAMES all want to mack supper teams so they can win championships when was the last time you saw a team not named SPURS, WARIORS, CAVS in the finals and teams like the Bucks and other small market teams have to over pay for sub par players and hope they don’t get screwed
You need to calm down? Maybe you need to grow up? Keep treating the athletes like “Gods” The problem is These “athletes” are making so much money, No one actually cares about the game anymore. What will happen when tickets are $ 1.000 each? Popcorn is $150.00 beer is $200.00, Are you still going?? Now, which ones are actually role models? How many kids do you know, who wants to be a Lawyer, or a doctor, OR a Pro athlete?? You fans are the ones putting the athletes on these pedestals not me. I’d rather educate my children. As far as making “Super Teams” Again, Its the fans doing this. Just How many Superstars can you get on one team? Who is going to pay them all? YOU ARE!! Enjoy it!1 As far as the Bucks are concerned. They are just like the Brewers, A waste of the tax payers money!! AND nothing more!! A Typical cost for a family of four (4) to a Bucks or Brewers game, Including parking, snacks, beverages, souvenirs, between $200.00-$300.00 But, well worth it right?? Only thing the Bucks and Brewers could have done right was MOVE!!
Food would never get to that price because of basic economics…. Recently of you ask me the past few championships in the diva sports you mentioned have been pretty entertaining ! May you need to stop whining and teach your kids how to go get what they want in this world
@ “thinkb4commenting” You should also try, spellcheck first b4 commenting! I do apologize, I had to get my grandson to figure out your 3rd grade sentence. As far as whining, and teaching my kids to get what they want in this world. I have. Three thru College, and two are Professionals. How are you and yours doing? I’m retired, Have been for years. They are doing just fine! They also agree about these overpaid Divas you pay to see. Maybe you should have studied Finances and English? Might have helped, Definitely couldn’t hurt!! Enjoy the game!!
I agree 100% that most of the NBA players are overpaid when a backup center can get 64 million from the Lakers the Bucks gave Milis Plumlee 50 million and the superstars are going to get paid 200 million and when was the last time a superstar went to the LAKERS or the NYK
