Over 30 NBA contract agreements were completed during the first day of 2018’s free agent period, as all five of Hoops Rumors’ top five free agents of 2018 – LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Paul George, and Chris Paul – came off the board.
However, despite the early flurry of action, there are still plenty of interesting names on the market. Out of our top 50 free agents, 30 have yet to commit to a team for 2018/19.

Be sure to check out our full top-50 list for breakdowns on all 30 unsigned players. Our 2018 free agent tracker has details on the contract agreements for the other 20, along with the rest of the free agents who have already reached deals.
All these “Trackers” ….
Would be useful & interesting to have them list the players ‘original’ team in addition to the new team.
It should be ‘sortable’.
A column for the ‘average yearly salary’ would be great for additional analyses and comparisons….being ‘sortable’ would also be useful.
The “Filter” button in the tracker should give you sorting options. Clicking the name of each column (“Amount,” etc.) also sorts by that column.
Nurkic is gonna be putting nasty numbers up once he gets actual minutes
Got it !
THX Luke….
Still think that the :
‘original’ team and …
‘average yearly salary’ options would add alot of interest to most readers .
I agree. Improving our trackers has been a back-burner issue for a while now, but I’d love to upgrade them before next year’s free agency.
Not being critical at all –
just showing interest in making things better
(no idea how difficult these upgrades may be) ….
Love what you guys do with this site (and also MLB, NFL, NHL sites)
THX again !
Have a Great 4th !!!
I am fascinated by where Isaiah Thomas is going to end up. Could he sign a short-term deal and try to rehab his value, or is has that ship sailed and he needs to lock in a few years and expext to sign a series of one year deals to end his career? I see the Magic as a possible team.
With all the excitement of The Decision 2.0 I completely forgot about IT4, yeah wonder where he will go & what he can get. Agree Orlando seems the right fit for him, but at his age I am not sure if it will work as probably he would like to compete not go to a team that is about to start a rebuild (Ooops I did it again, I forgot how long is Orlando’s rebuild by now… since DH12 left… ouch that hurts)
