Oregon Ducks freshman center Bol Bol will enter the draft and is hiring Creative Artists Agency to represent him, ESPN’s Nick DePaula reports.
The 7-foot-2 Bol, the son of NBA legend Manute Bol, is ranked No. 12 on Jonathan Givony’s ESPN.com list of 2019’s top 100 draft prospects.
Bol’s college career lasted just nine games. He suffered an ankle injury in mid-December and eventually a stress fracture in his left foot that required surgery. He’s expected to return to full basketball activities sometime this summer.
Bol put up impressive numbers during his brief period of good health, averaging 21.0 PPG on 57% shooting, 9.6 RPG and 2.7 BPG.
CAA will overlook his ongoing rehab and pre-NBA draft meeting and interview schedule, DePaula adds.
Bol Bol has the ability to stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting. Mike Schmitz of ESPN writes in his pre-draft analysis that Bol is a fluid center who moves extremely well for his size. He also has excellent rim-protection potential, thanks to his huge reach, solid instincts and timing, along with an intriguing offensive skill set.
If he somehow gets to the Sixers, you gotta take this kid… Size and Shooting. Need a backup for Embiid that foesnt cost much against the cap.
But the Celtics wont pass on him.
Strengths: 7’2 mobile center, Great size and length, possessing a 7’5 wingspan and 9’6 standing reach. Shrinks the floor and covers a lot of ground defensively with a wide radius of reach.
He led his team in points (21.0), rebounds (9.6), blocks (2.7) and 3-point percentage (52.0) in his 9 games

Leg injury, scares but have a feeling this guy is going to be a stud.
Hopefully this kid doesn’t suffer the same fate as Yao… he had ankle and foot issues also and operating on someone so big is dangerous. Really hoping for the best for this kid because if and when healthy, Bol would be a fantastic commodity.
His father was injury prone when he played in the NBA & he doesn’t have a big body & he best asset is being 7 foot 2 inches. Just ask Bill Walton what it was like playing after he had a career filled with foot injuries.
It was already well known that Bol Bol was a one & done college player except for he didn’t get that one college season completed since he suffered a season ending foot injury & if someone wants to know what happens with players who suffer foot injuries just ask NBA Hall of Famer Bill Walton who had a career of repeated foot injuries.
I’ll take a tako instead please
You can get Tacko in the 2nd probably tho.
No chance Tacko falls to the 2nd.
NBAdraft.net projects him to go No.51
Most mocks had him going undrafted recently
What is your source “no chance” Tacko, falls? assuming you’re not Mr. Fall?
Exactly. I mean even after the Duke game his draft status or prospect ranking didnt change really.
Tacko reminds me of College Hasheem Thabeet but less dominant
Thabeet 100 gp , .611/.000/.625 , 10.3 pts 8.5 reb 0.4 ast 0.4 stl 4.2 blk
Tacko 115 gp , .740/.000/.432 , 10.4 pts 7.7 reb 0.4 ast 0.2 stl 2.6 blk
Tacko is a Thabeet clone!! Buyer beware! Also damn, 74% from the field…
Fall doesn’t move his feet. Bol’s feet are fragile and NBA seasons are long. Pass
Charlotte would be a perfect fit. They need defense players and having a big body like him in the middle would be great for them.
Charlotte also is paying Biyombo, Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams a combined 46 million next year.
Money well spent.
Charlotte has had horrible luck drafting big men in the Jordan era
Bol Bol can be another unicorn like kP6 make no mistake about it!
7-foot-2 guy with a stress fracture in his foot. That’s a ticking time bomb. Pass.
If im lakers i take this guy at 10th pick not much true talent left at pick 10 and lakers need talent. He is a risk worth taking especially with his ability and no injury he is a top 4 pick.
