The Clippers have signed rookies Mfiondu Kabengele and Terance Mann, according to a team press release.
Kabengele, the nephew of Dikembe Mutombo, was the No. 27 overall pick in this year’s draft. Assuming he signed for the full 120% of the rookie scale, he’ll take home slightly under $1.98MM during the 2019/20 season, as our Rookie Scale Salaries page shows.
Mann was selected with the No. 48 overall pick in the draft. The two players were teammates at Florida State.
The last clippers pick in 6 years
What??? I’m assuming you mean first round picks but you’re still wrong. Not all of the picks they surrendered were their own. The Clips acquired 2 of the 5 picks from Miami and the Clips still have their own picks for both of those years.
I’m pretty sure they still have their own 2020 1st rounder. And their own 2021 1st (they traded the MIA 2021 1st). None in 2022. Their own in 2023 (or OKC’s). None in 2024. Own in 2025 (or OKC’s). None in 2026.
They have a 1st in 4 out of the next 7 years.
Yep
It was a steep price to pay, but that price is worth it for two of the seven best players in the league.
I agree on Kawhi being top 7. But is PG13 really better than Lebron, Curry, Embiid, KD, Harden, Davis, Giannis, etc.
He was third in mpv voting, so apparently George is top 3
Kawhi was only #9. The playoffs changed things! Though Kawhi was still getting maxxed. I’m not sure he could have created the OKC mess without the title drive however.
To be honest I think the clippers got a better trade when you consider all things then the lakers did. Two top 5 players came in because of it. Lakers got a top 10 for all their assets and picks too
“To be honest” that overrates LAC players and underrates LAL players. Hmm Clips fan.
Anyone else think TBH is the new IMO?
Dude you must be the only one who thinks Kawhi & PG13 are better than AD… SMH!!!
Ease his pain…
