Colorado’s Tyler Bey has signed with an agent and will remain in the draft, Jeff Goodman of Stadium tweets. Bey declared for the draft in late March. The 6’7” Bey is a potential first-round pick. He’s currently ranked No. 35 overall by ESPN and No. 8 among power forward prospects. He posted 13.8 PPG and 9.0 RPG with 1.5 SPG and 1.2 BPG in 31 games (29.0 MPG) in 2019/20.
We have more draft-related news:
- Josh Hall will bypass college and remain in the draft, according to Evan Daniels of 247Sports. The 6’9” Hall had signed to play with North Carolina State next season but has hired an agent and will pursue pro opportunities. He’s eligible for this year’s draft because he graduated for high school last year, did a post-graduate season year and is 19 years old.
- Seton Hall junior forward Sandro Mamukelashvili has a dozen video interviews lined up with NBA teams but could still return for his senior season, Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com reports. He declared for the draft in March without hiring an agent. Mamukelashvili averaged 11.9 PPG and 6.0 RPG this season but missed seven weeks due to a fractured wrist.
- Mason Jones declared on a Twitter post he’s not returning to Arkansas, Goodman relays in another tweet. The junior guard averaged 22.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 3.4 APG, and 1.6 SPG in his final year with the Razorbacks. The 6’5” Jones is ranked No. 77 overall and No. 14 among shooting guards by ESPN.

I dont think lamelo will drop that far and i dont want him at my bulls.melo and zach at bulls backcourt will hurt bulls defense.i love zoo ball type at pg.pass first and good defender.hope bulls draft haliburton
His stick seems to be dropping quite a bit. Don’t think the top teams need a PG and the Knicks seem to be liking Haliburton more and more. Pistons I think will take Anthony cause he more NBA ready I think and I think he’s got a good reputation which is what they want to start their rebuild. Ball to the Bulls seems like a decent fit next to LaVine because both can switch from PG to SG with their size, length and reach. However both need to get better defensively. Ball is a great passer he just need to work on his consistency. Ball to the Hornets would be interesting tho if they moved up or he fell back. He would play SG next to Graham but with his size and stuff that shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe he could do well leaving off MJ
No way LaMelo falls that low, his stock is as high as ever, only fans don’t like him for his dad, which show those fans are brainless & discriminatory. LaMelo will be picked at #2 or 3 at the lowest, realistically is the best player after Wiseman. That’s the good thing fans have no say in who their team picks, otherwise it would be such a mess, that’s for sure!
Ball isn’t that great, he’s got all the tools, passing ability, shooting ability, size and length and everything but he hasn’t put it all together. His dad is an issue, his maturity looks like it could be an issue, his defence needs to improve, his consistency needs to improve, he basketball IQ.
He has a super high ceiling but he also has a floor which looks like Jimmer Fredette and it looks 50:50.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he fell out the top 5, firstly there’s just such a big risk attached with him. Secondly a lot of the top teams don’t need a PG and thirdly this year has a deep class of good PGs with size such as Haliburton, Hayes, Anthony, Hampton, Mannion and Maledon. Most these guys might not be as ready or have as high a ceiling but they also don’t have a floor as low as Ball.
Yeah,i think ball isnt that great but many mock draft list him as top 3. And as i said before,i dont want ball at my bulls.i want haliburton. Or maybe sf like avdija or okoro.
