Go sixers. 5 picks total
Doesn’t matter. Elton Brand is a bad GM and the rest of the front office are Bryan’s guys. Unless they all are fired there is no hope. Then there is the problem of Horford and Harris being on such terrible deals. It’s over. The Sixers ownership blew it. They took Hinkie’s hard work and destroyed their assets in 2 years. The title chances are over.
It’s unbelievable at how the fortunes have changed since the league stepped in to stop the process. BCo, Brett, and Brand have all made disastrous decisions as GM. And now, that once bright future is looking very cloudy. Not to say they can’t win, just not nearly as promising as just a few short years ago
To me
Horford and Harris got 100 million overpay
Total salary 289 million
The true worth 189 million
Hinkie’s hard work? How hard was it to do nothing for 5 years and hope for the best?
Lol at warriors
Lol 2021 nba champions*
Warriors going from worst to first? That ain’t gonna happen.
Sure it can. They weren’t worst because they don’t have talent. They were worst because that talent was nearly all injured. That talent healthy had the best record in the league the year before. Yeah Durant is gone, but they were great before he ever got there.
I don’t know they will be as great next year, but claiming the Warriors will win next year is definitely not the same thing as claiming the Knicks or the Cavs will be 2021 world champs.
Memphis needs way more help then the 40th pick
They nearly made the playoffs with their current young roster and next year they will have another year of experience together. Granted the lucky lotto last year helped a lot, but they also got some good lower picks in Clarke and Brooks as well. Even Josh Jackson looked like he may be starting to turn a corner, assuming he stays.
I think Memphis is on a very good track right now. They have rebuilt much better than the Knicks or the Bulls or the Cavs. With some geographical realignment that puts Memphis in the Eastern Conference where they should be, they’d be set up as a perennial contender.
1. Edwards 2. Lamelo 3. Wiseman
Why would Warriors want LaMelo? They have Curry.
TWolves have two great picks. This means Edwards goes first. Then who knows. Warriors could trade down. Unless they really like Wiseman. It’s what I think they should do. My Knicks again. Top 6 would have been much better. Now we’ll have to see who drops. Thibs is not trading up in this draft. Next yrs draft is much deeper. Bulls lucked out.
Knicks need some luck to hopefully get Halliburton or Hayes
Not as luck as nola last year but im happy with this.i want avdija or haliburton.but i think bulls and knick need to tank one more year bcoz i think next draft class are great
Tanking only gives you a 14% chance of winning the 1st pick in the lottery.
I will literally LOL if the Warriors waste their pick on Wiseman!
Why don’t you like Wiseman. I would say almost like Ayton coming out.
Except Ayton was proven against top flight college competition in a power 5 conference and Wiseman played a handful of games in a small conference. So yeah…almost.
About time the Bulls caught a break.
2nd pick has a huge trade value
Knicks may not have enough value to get 2nd pick
Internet rumor
Rose and World Wide could trade Mitch Rob and 8th pick to Warriors for Ball
Silli quit gossiping with pud-buddy names. “internet rumor” my azz. Calm down
Sillylavar you can’t be a real person. I know you are not a child. Your time has expired lol.
According to Twitter
Edwards is Comparable to Wiggins
Never lead with the phrase “according to twitter.”
Thats bullshit.lamelo overhype.knick wont trade mitch.
5 point guards in the draft don’t have body to play defense
Cole has knee issue
Knicks have to pick Forwards
Another stupid comment.haliburton will be a good defender.he just need to bulk up.to play defense dont just need body.u need a big heart to be a good defender first.
Bulls should get what they need, Halliburton. Don’t blow it.
1 – Minny – Edwards < this is easy
2 – GS – Wiseman < another easy, or will trade down. Wiseman can help and takes them into future. Toppin, Okongwu, Halliburton can all do it. Why pass on next great Center. He gives Dre 2 more yrs easy.
3 – Charlotte – here I’m confused. They need a C or guard, PG. Not a Ball fan, to me he is not top 10. But I have to think he goes here < (Ball)
4 – Chicago – Halliburton < he’s best PG in draft. Hayes could be better, maybe. But he will take 3-4 yrs to get there. Halliburton can start next yr.
5 – Cleveland – Toppin < he could be ROY. Ready to start. Next to Drummond he can be next Griffin. His D needs to get better. They can move Love to get the PG or wing they need. This is a good pick for Cavs.
6 – Atlanta – Okongwu < he is ready to start. This allows them to move Collins and get a SG. Plus save money. With Capela n Okongwu they will be fine.
7 – Detroit – Hayes < this is easy. They have luxury to wait him out. Hayes has bright future. Big PG
8 – New York – Deni < my pick is Okoro. There is no way they pass on a good young Israeli player. I like Deni. Okoro is BLA to me. I’m good with Deni.
9 – Washington – Okoro <. this is easy.
10 – Phoenix – Vassell <. he’s a 2way player. Good shooter and is a true SF. Achiuwa is a possibility here. I think they go Offense.
11 – San Antonio – Achiuwa < Aldridge is on his way out. He’s a solid big with upside. Fits in well with Poeltl. And can start when they move Aldridge. Now
If Suns take him. Then it’s Vassell or Maledon.
12 – Sacramento – Williams < this is easy. 2way player, good size SF.
13 – New Orleans – Maledon < this is easy. He can start one day. Till then he can backup PG. Allows them to move Holiday.
14 – Boston – Nesmith < he's BPA here. He’s scoring off bench. A shooter who plays D. I personally like Carey Jr for them. He loses weight. Can be a solid big PF. They need that. Carey seems to be falling big time. IMO he’s a lottery pick.
That’s what I got. Good luck to all. The draft are new beginnings. So go for it. NYK
Knickerbocker : haliburton or avdija is my wish.if hornet pass lamello and draft haliburton,i hope my bulls trade down for deni.or trade him to nola for ingram (sign and trade) and lonzo.give them lavine, lauri, and opj.
I meant “or draft lamelo and trade him to nola”
Would you toss in Ryan Arcidiacono to help even the salaries?
Why would the Bulls need Halliburton? They got Coby White last year. Are you suggesting they pull the plug on him already? With White and Lavine at guard and Carter and Markkanen at the bigs, they need a SF more than anything. Porter will be gone and neither Hutchinson nor Valentine look to be anything more than bench guys. Their best pick would be Deni Avdija who is by far the best SF prospect in this draft.
Bulls dont have a playmaker.coby list as pg but play as sg.he was lavine backup.coby only play as pg in college.in high school he was sg.coby and lavine in bulls backcourt was hurt bulls defense.both are not good defender.(but coby play defense better than lavine).bulls need to trade out sato.10m for mediocre player is bullshit.haliburton or deni avdija are my wish.
Definently haliburton, but still concerned for his body type and possible durability issues
Haliburton to Knicks
He is too thin
He has no body to play defense
There is no way he is top 7
You think he’s a PG. OK
The Bulls biggest need is direction to me. They have young talent. IMO with LaVine at SG and a real PG. They should have been in playoffs. Dunn hasn’t worked out, better off the bench. Coby dii I want run a team. He looks for his shot. He’s best as the third guard. Halliburton puts Bulls in playoffs. I would not pass on him. He’s the most efficient player in draft. For a PG that’s says a lot.
The Hornets could go a few directions, but I don’t see it being Ball. That doesn’t strike me as a headache Jordan would want. They also don’t need a starting PG. See exhibt A: Devonte’ Graham. They could use some back court depth. However that’ll come in the 2nd round or FA.
They need a quality SF and/or another Center. I like Saddiq Bey. I’d reach for him here. If they follow the board more closely, Deni Avdija could be a pick here, too, if 1-2 go as you say.
I don’t see Ball as a PG. Truth is I don’t like him. But to be fair. And try and see what draft people like about him. I’ll be objective. He has grown a lot since HS. He was more of a scorer then. He’s probably still growing into his body. Is not as athletic as his brother Lonzo. But he is smart and is a playmaker. When he settles into his body. I see him more as a SG with size. Will find his shot and become a scorer. He’s lost his shot now. He’s more a combo guard. With his size he can cause problems. But I don’t see this for at least 3-4 yrs. Look at Lonzo. It took him 3 yrs to get here. He’s showing on becoming a big solid 2way PG. LaMelo can be a better scorer, more a 2 guard. Hornets do need a SG. A guard with size. Does not come along all the time. Charlotte is not thrilled with their guards. They probably move Rozier. Graham is more a backup. And Monk they aren’t happy with. Hornets would rather have Wiseman. Unless they trade up. He’ll be gone. Ball has upside. You have to be patient with him.
I’m not high on Ball, either. I worry about his shot. If they could somehow move Rozier, maybe it’s a different ball game. I just feel like he’s an awfully expensive 6th man.
We see Graham very differently. I’m very high on Graham. He made some clear strides this season.
Who are you figuring is their 2?
1.Edwards MIN, 2.trade, Wiseman ATL, 3.trade, Ball NYK, 4.Okoro CHI, 5.Advija CLE, 6.trade, Vassell GSW, 7.Toppin DET, 8.trade, Okongwu CHA,
9.Achiwura WAS, to pair with Hachimura lol
Allrookie- Edwards, Ball ROY, Toppin, Nesmith, Jalen Smith
Meant for AppO. CHO doesn’t have a good use for the #3.
They have Rozier at the two spot. He’s not stellar, but I think he’ll be tough to move off of. He’s at least adequate, imo. If they draft Ball, they’re sitting a lot of money on the bench and still playing a poor SF. Borrego has said he believes Miles is more of a PF, but they lack an open spot there. I’d rather have a true SF and either bring Miles off the bench or look to trade him.
I really hope the Cavs draft the Israeli star. I lille close enough to Cleveland I could drive and see the games and I’m really excited for his potential.
Jrue Holiday and one of their many picks to the Warriors for the 2nd pick, Looney and Poole along with Iggy’s and Napier’s trade exceptions.
Pelicans use 2nd pick on LaMelo.
Lavar gets his dream. Klay slides to the 3.
Pelicans wouldn’t be very good, but they would be fun to watch with the Ball boys and Zion. Warriors trade Wiggins back to the Cavs for Love. Warriors send out Curry, Holiday, Thompson, Love and Green as starting 5.
