Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue has noted that his stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, absent thus far from the club’s six-game road trip due to coronavirus protocols, are “feeling well,” but he would not elaborate on when he expected them to return to the team, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
“Mentally, they’re in a great place,” Clippers reserve point guard Reggie Jackson said of the two unavailable wings. “They are doing all they can to get back as soon as possible.”
There’s more from the Pacific Division:
- Suns All-Star point guard Chris Paul has verbalized his frustration with his club following Phoenix’s third straight loss, according to Royce Young of ESPN. “I’m not going to say we’re not good enough, but we’re not playing well enough right now,” Paul said following a 102-97 home loss to the Thunder.
- After being traded from the Lakers this offseason, Sixers small forward Danny Green holds no ill will toward Los Angeles, per Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. In fact, Green stays in touch with his old teammates. “I still call them brothers,” Green said. “We still have a bond forever, because of what we achieved together and the time we spent in the bubble.”
- The Suns are hopeful that forward Dario Saric, who has been conditioning for several days after being absent due to the league’s coronavirus protocols, can return for the team’s game against the Mavericks this Saturday, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM tweets. In seven games this season, Saric is averaging 10.6 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 1.0 APG. He is connecting on 35.7% of his 4.0 three-point attempts per game.
Take AD away from LA and they lose to lowly Detroit by 15? Ouch.
Also, Blake Griffin decided to finally show up
That happens when kuzma guards him
Yeah, I saw that! Whoa! Is there still life left in the Griffin tank?
I knew Oladipo could take a many as 3 seasons to get back his quad strength, but I thought Griffin finally injured himself seriously, for the last time.
Hope it wasn’t a fluke, and LA just left him alone for easy buckets.
Lakers have been just fine in the other three games AD has missed. They just had a bad game. Try knowing what you are talking about for once. You obsess over the Lakers because they own the Rockets. It’s pretty pathetic.
I suppose you need something to take your mind off that Rockets train wreck of an organization, though. Currently behind even the Warriors. Ouch.
Back to Back with travel and without AD. Nothing you don’t see every week in the NBA.
For the past 9 years than Warriors
Suns draft picks are better than Warriors
Trade 2019 11th pick for Saric
At this point I think that Chris Paul is part of the problem in PHO… i mean he’s only shooting 29% from 3 while averaging under 15 PPG. So while he’s definitely an established veteran who’s entitled to vocalize his frustrations at this point in his career… I think he might need to focus more on his own play before sounding off on the overall ineffectiveness of the team.
Totally agree with you Jeff!
I mean you play without Booker & CP3 shoots 21 times & with the same minutes Ayton shoots 7 times… SMH!
For PHO to win Ayton must be a focal point of the offense, CP3 should be giving him the ball all the time not shooting, that just poor form from him, right?
Lakers need a Center- Gasol is cooked
McGee Whiteside Cousins Noel all look like conceivable targets
The Lakers are better with Harrell on the court rather than Gasol. I would also like to see Tucker get more minutes and Kuzma fewer. I have felt this way for a little while now. Kuzma is very overrated. He is mediocre at best.
Harrell cant guard big centers (Hes 6’7 235 only) – We need a starting Center
Kuzmas played with great energy the last 6~7 games – The first 13 were abysmal – Hes more effective than Mathews/Morris right now-
People say dpeth is a luxury and it is for the most part but it has to be frustrating trying to rotate 11 guys-
I agree THT and Caruso need more pt – Id also say Kuzma needs more mins as we are kinda small on the glass this year and hes a big help there-
Less mins- Gasol Mathews Morris
What reason would Danny Green have to be mad at the Lakers? He got a ring and a bloated contract from them.
I’d take Kuzma on the Knicks. If Lakers want to just give him away for a second round pick
I dont think it would happen but if Lakers decided they wanted to clear money for Carsuo Schroeder Tht they could possibly deal Kuzma for Noel (they need a C) and a 2nd
I agree that be a nice opp for NYK
I think he’d fit perfect in Philly tbh …..thybull for Kuzma has always made sense for me for both teams- Kuz would be a nice stretch 4 with Joel covering his back and add a shooter for Ben
Semms like Maxeys emergence has kind of taken some of the shine off thybull over there as well
