Clippers starting point guard Patrick Beverley will suit up against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times tweets.
Beverley has been sidelined with right knee soreness for LA since March 11. He has partaken in just 29 games for the Clippers this season as a result of multiple injuries. Head coach Tyronn Lue noted that Beverley will be playing on a minutes limit.
The 32-year-old vet, known for his defensive moxie, is averaging 8.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 2.1 APG this season. He is connecting on a stellar 42% of his 4.1 three-point looks. Reggie Jackson had been starting in Beverley’s stead for the Clippers.
Beverley’s longtime backcourt mate Lou Williams was recently traded to the Hawks in exchange for two-time champion Rajon Rondo, who brings his leadership and ball-handling to Los Angeles.
The Clippers are currently the No. 3 seed in the crowded Western Conference with a 33-18 record.
It’s hip 2 clip
What is your prediction for Conference Finals teams?
My prediction for West?
Blazers and Lakers
Now it’s your pick for East
Magic and Pistons
More likely the Bucks against either the Nets or the Sixers.
As far as the West goes, it won’t be Blazers and Lakers.
you gotta remember there’s no guarantee the Lakers even get out of the first round… with losing Lebron and AD for a long length of time the might end up in the play in tournament and get the 7 seed… and if they have to play the Suns, Jazz, or Clippers they might not win.
Pat Bev is a nice piece, but there isn’t enough vino in all of California to stop a healthy LeBron and AD.
Lakers V. Nets/Bucs- whoever is healthier.

All the sport’s writers, who cover NBA. Say the Lakers healthy are the favorites. Some even calling them overwhelming favorites. Then they go on to say with AD and Bron missing this time and possibly more. They could fall all the way to 7th and a play in gm. So I ask myself why couldn’t a team just take one out or both in a series. Maybe you can’t totally stop them. But you should be able to, in a 7gm series. Be able to D up for 3-4 gms and not let those two impact winning the gm. This is Why the Teams who play D, have big athletic wings. Will give them trouble in a series. I’ve just never seen them as overwhelming favorites. They are the champs and you will have to beat them. To me the West and East are both competitive this yr.
