Serge Ibaka has joined the Clippers on their road trip, leaving open the possibility he will play before the postseason, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN tweets. However, Ibaka won’t play against Toronto on Tuesday, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times tweets. The veteran center, who holds a $9.72MM option on next season’s contract, hasn’t played since March 14 due to a back injury.
We have more from the Pacific Division:
- Kyle Kuzma was held out of Sunday’s game due to lower back tightness, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports tweets. Kuzma, who signed a three-year, $39MM extension in December, shot 2-for-11 from the field on Friday in a loss to Portland. The Lakers forward is averaging 12.8 PPG.
- Kings guard De’Aaron Fox would like to see the team’s front office exercise some patience, he told Howard Beck of Sports Illustrated. He’s weary of the constant tinkering of the roster. “If you’re not winning as a team, guys get traded, guys who were barely hanging on … get cut and are out the league and coaches get fired,” Fox said, while adding that the top teams have “players play together longer and develop chemistry, and coaches continue to grow and trust all their players.” Fox also spoke in the interview about his recent experience with COVID-19.
- Warriors guard Damion Lee got up some shots on the court Monday for the first time since clearing the league’s health and safety protocols, Kendra Andrews of NBC Sports Bay Area tweets. Coach Steve Kerr said he’s unsure when Lee will return to game action. Lee contracted COVID-19 even after he had been fully vaccinated.
Kings Bagley and Wolves Culver are going to be all stars in the future
Rockets should acquire them and develop them by offering Bucks and Nets picks
Too bad you don’t have Rafeal Stone’s phone number. You could share all of this amazing advice for running their team. I’m sure he would appreciate it.
Fox must be getting hints that he’s next to go. SAC would be correct in selling high now as he’s nowhere close to being the guy in a championship team.
Is Ibaka really hurt or is this the breakdown of a 39 yr old (no, no, no … my Congolese birth certificate says I’m only 31 yrs.).

We don’t have the cap to contract Collins and hold Holmes. Not even after a deal with Buddy / Bagley
I don’t know where you got that info, because trading Hield and Bagley will free up approx $29m and while yes it would probably take most of that to sign Collins and Holmes, Collins is still young. Hield is too inconsistent and Bagley is too injury prone. plus, Barnes Contract is a declining contract, and next year will be approx $3m less than this years contract. You will NOT win any Championships with ONLY Fox and Haliburton and no other decent players around them, period !!
This years draft is a weak draft compared to past drafts. We might want to consider Trading our 1st rnd pick, along w/ one of the aforementioned Players.
When you deal with Buddy you have to take up a salary. If you are trading in Barnes you must take up a salary. many teams have little cap space. Which player do you want to hield, trade for?
And for example a Franz Wagner is a perfect fit for our team.
“Salary matching” is generally within 25% though there are other CBA rules. Hield & Bagley is $33.5mil so you would need to bring back at least $26.8mil. Except for the Knicks with cap space, except this & that…
I wonder if the Franz Wagner value goes up since bro Mo found a team finally.
Kuzma is soft. If I had his height and gm. I’d be in the HOF right now.
Can’t take him seriously with that hair. I know its him, but every game I see, I’m like “who is that idiot with the bleached hair”
I know how all the haters (like pb here) only hope that Houston loses in the draft lottery because they know that the Rockets will be back on top soon if they get a franchise player like Cunningham or Mobley. Be very afraid.
With Olynik, Porter, Wood, Mobley, Gordon or Wall?
20-25 wins next season
Like Harden what a joke lol
Back on top? The Rockets haven’t been on top in 25 years or so lol
Curios Al…what do you base Kuzma being soft on….. And how much have you watched of him this year?
