The Rockets could be in a unique position to take Mobley at #2. They still have bird rights for Olynyk so re-signing him to a 2 or 3 year contract still makes sense even if they draft Mobley. This allows them to bring the young man along slowly and also would give them a really impressive 3-man rotation at C/PF with Wood, Mobley, and Olynyk. This would be a huge turnaround from their micro-ball experiment.
Turnaround ……. My my my my. So small is dead now. You spend a whole yr arguing and venting for what exactly. Being a Homer shouldn’t make you blind to reality. Size IS Basketball. It’s what makes it different from ALL sports. The big Guard. The long shooter. The athletic big. The Power Forward. The Rim protector. You can’t teach size. Size with talent is the hardest thing to find. Bringing Mobley around slowly is actually a smart thing to do. But why is it you thrashed Wiseman and now play up Mobley. You really should think before you post. All 19 yr olds need time and more weight. Mobley is a great pick. But I would give Green a Long Look. You can find a solid big other picks. Rockets definitely got a future all-star at #2.
Mobley has way more potential than Wiseman. He can shoot, he can pass the ball, he’s a great defender. He needs to be developed just like the Rockets did with Capela, but his ceiling is 10 times higher.
True you can’t teach size, but it’s useless without athleticism.
And modern centers have to be able to shoot threes. Capela can’t.
10 times higher??? Someone is exaggerating. 10 times??? What are you smoking??? But your from Texas. Maybe you need to start smoking.
He knows nothing about ball. He’s argued here for two yrs about small ball. And how bigs are outdated. Now he wants to draft one. Clueless fan. Only here to be a devil’s advocate. Wiseman will be one best centers of his generation. Mobley is three yrs away. He’s thinner than Noel right now. He can shoot for a big. But no center needs to shoot threes. That’s just idiotic. Capela can’t shoot. And he’s the reason Hawks are where they are. He’s the anchor of their D. Something they didn’t really show in season. He’s why Knicks lost. Rocket Homer is about to change his name. For the FOURTH time in three yrs. All you need to know. Not a NBA fan. Not even a true Rocket fan. Just an agitator.
You do realize that Kelly has to want to sign with them right? Bird rights or not, he may decide he’s good enough to be a solid bench piece on a team that is actually going to matter in the next 5 years.
And yet again WallyWorld takes a shot at a former Rocket player not named Harden. If he’s not bashing the Lakers, Warriors or a former Rockets player he’s not posting lmao
Cade is a great pick for a young talented Pistons team. They can all grow, literally grow up together. As a fan one of best things to be a part of. Is to see your team grow from the bottom, thru the draft. Future looks good in Detroit. Thunder have some nice picks. Warriors too, I can see them making a major trade. Warriors window is now. Magic also have two nice picks. I sure would love to see Knicks try n move up to 5. Top ten has a lot of talent. This is a deep 1st rd. I’m sure there will be a few trades draft night. Should be fun.
Players I like Knicks to trade up for. Kuminga, Bouknight, Mitchell, J Johnson. Imo all could start for us. All have upside and play both ways. Draft night is going to be exciting. Can’t wait.
Like to see the Dubs trade 7, 14 and Wiggins for Beal on a expiring contract. Washington would get a player that probably played his best ball (Wiggins) and two lottery picks. Warriors will have curry Thompson draymond Beal looney/wiseman. Warriors need to take advantage of still having a three still together now!
They were in the playoffs with Beal. Why give him up instead of adding more pieces with him?
I don’t see Washington adding anybody significant. I cant name the last big name that chose to play in Washington. And it’s last year for him he is not resigning might as well get something now for him. But all my opinion tho
Beal isn’t the answer for GSW (isn’t Poole basically dollar store Beal?), but I like that trade package and I’d rather use it on any number of other players, or also to trade up for Clevelands #3 pick and maybe a player either from them, or another team in a complicated multi-teamer.
If wiggins played his best ball, why do warriors fans want to give him up!?
He gets too much money. He’s really good though and I actually don’t hate keeping him at all for this season, because Klay will be on minutes restrictions. I can see them trading him maybe next year though, because Klay and Wiggins styles of play contradict each other and Wiggins likes shooting too much – no need for him to do that with the superior Klay there.
For someone who can play better… since he showed improvement on both ends of the floor upped his trade value
Wiggins played his best ball? Well, per most statistics he was league average last year, so if that’s his best ball it does not inspire confidence
so the average nba player had 19pts pg. he’s more than an average player. put dime spect on his name.
Probably not enough for Beal and even with Beal, Warriors aren’t contenders. They don’t know how Klay will look.
Look what they did this year with injuries still. Curry went crazy and if they would of had a kaly at 50% they would be playing today
Pistons WILL be in the play in game next year. Adding a number 1 pick to 2 all rookie team guys and a top 3 MIP candidate. This team is coming up. Look out!
Cade is the best prospect since Zion and most likely will be playing on an all-star level from the get-go like Zion did. Zion however, plays on a team that has no idea how to build. Detroit is doing a much better job of building, therefore, you might be correct, and with the east being a huge joke, you might even be underselling them at the play-in game, they could be a top 6 if Cade is the real deal.
Just saw another mock draft. Yikes!!! Every year the draft pool gets worse and worse and worse. Why are American players so bad now??? I see all these training guru’s on Twitter. Where are the American studs????
That was Family Feud… Wrong channel.
Wrong on every level. Cade is a stud. Why do you think mock drafts make the players bad? The top 15 players in this draft ALL could have gone #1 last year – that’s how bad last years class was.
Last year’s draft class was perceived to be weaker than this one, but you cannot possibly believe that none of Edwards, Wiseman, or LaMelo would go in the top 15 in this class. All three would be drafted lower, but I highly doubt any of the three would be available outside the top 10.
So the Thunder did all that losing on purpose, just to get a lower pick than the Raptors? Lol.

Raptors are not trading a future star for 7 n 14. And Warriors don’t need rookies to make a title run. Warriors probably do trade. But they’ll be looking for a player to help next yr. I know they liked Okongwu. But could go for Collins. Either can help next yr. And is the future with Wiseman. Imo Warriors will make the biggest trade on draft night. Stay tuned. Top ten has great talent. But not all are ready to play big next yr.
If GSW wanted Okongwu they would’ve drafted him last yr. They chose Wiseman instead bc he’s obv better. Those guys play the same position & GSW def wouldn’t trade for O while they still have Wiseman. As far as Collins there’s nothing GSW could give ATL outside of Steph that would make us wanna part with John. John ain’t going anywhere unless someone gives up another young all-star level guy & there’s only a few of those type guys in the league. Jaren Jr, Tyus plus a 1st is the only type of deal that would interest ATL & even that might not be enough.. From GSW’s perspective tho Jalen Suggs would DEFINITELY be ready to play & help them contend for a title. He’s obv a young guy but he’s played in many big games already, FIBA U17 & U19 gold medal games,a couple of Final 4 gms, hs state title games in football & basketball & he always rises to the occasion. He’d be absolutely perfect in that backcourt along with Steph/Klay/JPoole next yr & for the next few yrs & he’d be perfect as Steph’s successor as well. If Suggs is gone before Tor’s pick them perhaps GSW tries to trade their lottery picks for a guy like Vasilje Micic from OKC or Aaron Holiday/TJ Warren from Indy but if they have a shot at Suggs it’s a no brainer to pull the trigger. He’d give the Ws the same type of production that a rookie Sam Cassell gave Houston in the mid 90s
