It sounds like Knicks guard Kemba Walker won’t see regular playing time unless he reclaims his starting job, writes Stefan Bondy of The New York Daily News. Walker, who was pulled from the rotation earlier this week, didn’t leave the bench in this afternoon’s loss to the Nuggets, even as New York fell behind by 30 points.
“As I mentioned before when I made that decision, I view Kemba as a starter,” coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters. “… I do have respect for him, he’s part of the team. And right now we have a rotation, he’s not in the rotation but he’s working in practice, he’s doing all the things he should be doing.”
Walker, who hasn’t talked to the media since his demotion, has been a disappointment this season, even at the discount price of $18MM over two years. He’s scoring 11.7 points per game, down from 19.3 PPG last season with the Celtics, and his arthritic left knee limits his effectiveness on defense.
Neither Walker nor backcourt partner Evan Fournier has lived up to what the Knicks expected when they pursued them in free agency. Multiple sources tell Bondy that Thibodeau urged the front office to keep Reggie Bullock, who signed with Dallas for $30.5MM over three years.
There’s more from New York:
- Thibodeau believes RJ Barrett needs more repetition to fix his three-point shot, Bondy adds. After connecting at 40.1% from beyond the arc last season, Barrett has slumped to 32.1%. “You get rhythm when you work and last year he got going when he started coming in every night to shoot,” Thibodeau said. “So there’s no notion of, ‘OK, I’ll do it sometimes.’ No, you got to do it all the time. When you did it, you shot 40 from 3. So get back in the gym, get back to improving your shot.”
- At 11-12, the Knicks are now under .500 for the first time this season, and Julius Randle believes the team has lost the defensive identity that it relied on last year, per Marc Berman of The New York Post. “It’s who we are as a team, how we built this team and this culture is just fighting defensively, the togetherness, just the effort, the hustle plays,” Randle said. “I feel like that’s what the city of New York loves. That’s what the fans love — when they know we’re out there giving it our all. And I think sometimes we’re too lax.’’
- Fournier talks about Thibodeau, some of his new teammates and several other subjects in a wide-ranging interview with Steve Serby of The New York Post.
I truly believe its a matter of time to Knicks “reconect” with that defensive mentality from last season, but man, we are playing so bad thats hard to keep that in mind all the time
Get Over It! We Are Adjusting To Two New Starters And Sometimes The Adjustments Are Easy And Fast But Obviously Not In This Case With The NY Knicks. The NY Knicks Have An Amazing Potential That Was Proven Last Season. This Season With The Addition Of The New Starters And The Other Players (Especially: Luka Semantic) NY Knicks Will Rock Once They Start Clicking. In Addition, Somewhere During The Season There Will Be A 23 Game Winning Streak That Will Push The NY Knicks Into The Playoffs. Clearly, Everything Is Too Soon Still But Like Julius Randle Said Last Season “We Have The Big 15.”
The Big 15 Will Win Games Eventually And Hopefully During This Season. An Amazing Picked Up Was Luka Semantic Which Was Released By The San Antonio Spurs And He Will Be A Perfect Addition With The New York Knickerbockers.
In The 2019 NBA Draft He Was The 19th Pick And That Means “Greatness”. Luka Will Be A Great Addition To The Club As Was Evan Fournier And Kemba Walker. This Could Be The Great Year That The New York Knicks Have Been Waiting For Forever. The NY Knickerbockers Could Go “Rather” Will Go To The Finals Many Years During This Decade With Gusto And Flying Colors. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
The NY Knickerbockers Will Win It All Under The Master T (Tom Thibodeau).

That Is Your Problem Decaf Will Not Solve Your Problems But Rather Increase Them. What Exactly Does That Say About You? Lol!

Can I email you to discuss this further?
Relax bro, maybe u should take a walk, enjoy the little things
Chicago went out and got DeRozan, Ball and Caruso.
Knicks went out and got Kemba and Fournier.
That basically explains it all. Bad management (again) by the NYK front office. They just never get it right.
Is That The Only Thing That You Can See? Can I Say That All Of You Are Blind? The Knicks Obtained Kemba And Fournier Because That Was What NY Needed To Complete The Big 15. We All Know That Master T Prefers A Nine Player Rotation But That He Can Extended To The Big 15 If He Needed To. Anyway Kemba And Fournier Will Complement Any Lineup That Master T Decides To Use.
It Wasn’t A Coincidence That Master T Won Coach Of The Year In 2011 And 2021. Master T Really Knows What He Is Doing Definitely. The NY Knicks Will Make The 2021-22 Season A Great One For New York.
By ChampionShipSports888
It isn’t just their defensive intensity that the Knicks are lacking.
Randle doesn’t use his right hand, Randle severely interrupts the flow of their offense, Key and Fournier have been pretty disappointing, and if Thibs wants to turn their sinking ship around, he’s going to have to resolve some of these issues.
If he can keep Randle involved, but have him with more of a playmaking mindset, that would definitely be a good start.
Dude stick to the Braves, please.
As bad Knicks are playing. They have lost six games by six or less. Meaning if they could close. Or play D like last yr. They would be
17-6 instead of 11-12. And 90% of all haters would be hating on something else. Knicks will change and get it right. Even if it means a trade.
Nope! There Will Be Not Trades For The New York Knicks’ Big 15. We Have What We Need And Who We Need.
The NY Knicks Have Waited Forever To Get Back To The NBA Finals In Style And This Could Be The Year. Who Could Be Better Than Master T? After All Is Said And Done, He Was Right There When Jeff Van Gundy (A New York Hero) Amazingly And Miraculously Took A Number Eight Seed To The NBA Finals. They Could Have Done More Had Patrick Ewing Been Healthy? But It Wasn’t Mean To Be. That Is Destiny At Its Best. Perhaps, Maybe Now Destiny Could Be Meant To Be. We Will Just Have To Wait And See The Rollercoaster Season This Could Be.

God Bless The New York Knicks!
You are absolutely right my friend because Thibs is no offensive guru what do ever. His offense flat out stinks and it’s nauseating to watch . This offense has no fluidity and no ball movement. He is too stubborn like last year when he stuck with Elfrid Payton who gave us absolutely nothing and now he is married to RJ Barrett who is giving us absolutely nothing in his third year and plays the same dam nine man rotation no matter how deep of a hole we are in line how we got smacked around by a Denver Nuggets team who just got beat by Orlando and Jamal Murray isn’t even playing for them . Thibs needs to hire Mark Jackson as his offensive coach because this ship is sinking faster than the Titanic and it’s only going get worse being he has a love affair with slow footed vets and with guys who can’t shoot or creat off the dribble like RJ Mitch Noel Gibson and Kemba who was rightfully benched.
Really this group you talk about. Was the 4th seed last yr. They got troubles, no doubt. But they are fixable. No ship is sinking mr drama. At worst there will be a trade. But it is on Thibs. I agree there.
Hey Al as good as we played last year I think we overachied then we got exposed by Atlanta in our first round flame out. But I agree with alot of your points. We have to make a trade . I just think we would have been better with Spencer at the point and Demar DeRozan as the SF.
Master T Knows Exactly What He Is Doing And The NY Knicks Will ROCK The Roof Of Madison Square Garden.
Do Not Panic! Master T Has Everything Under Control.
Oh But He Is The Master T “The Master Coach” That The New York Knickerbockers Will Always Need. Master T Is A Perfect Defensive Coach And A Perfect Offensive Coach. He Is The Real Deal. The One And Only Master T.
RJ Barrett Will Become The Eventual Captain Of The NY Knicks Along With Julius Randle And Mitchel Robinson As Tri-Captains Of New York.
Mark Jackson Will Surely Be A Great Addition To The Coaching Staff: Definitely.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Master T Is The Perfect Coach Offensively And Defensively. Master T Knows Exactly What He Is Doing And The NY Knicks Will ROCK The Roof Of Madison Square Garden.
Mitch is out of shape. Not handling the middle like last yr. Or rebounding like last yr. Noel has been hurt. So our anchor at center has not been there this year. That’s biggest reason for team D. Next is there is no urgency like last yr. Then Kemba and Fournier are a step down. Put it all together. And our D is at bottom. Where last yr it was at the top.
Next Randle is playing more like two yrs ago. Than like last yr. We are mixing in two new starters. And we have become three happy. Thibs has left team to work it out. But it hasn’t happened. Hence the Kemba benching.
This is about coaching. They signed the new guys. So it’s on them to make it work. It’s on Thibs right now. But my patience is running thin on Mitch and Randle. We got no super stars. We win as a team by effort and drive. Not there consistent this yr.
This post makes no sense
Says the buttholesurfer who never bounced a ball.
See this guy here. Is one of the geniuses of this board. He can’t explain it. He only shoots it down. He got hate. For teams and players he don’t care about. So why excatly is he posting. If he got no knowledge to show us. Or knowledge to disagree. Or knowledge to fix it. It’s a regurgitation of media feeding. Or just hate for the sake of hating. Not an inkling of an idea of his own.
Surf away lol
Lol. Apologies Al, I’ve explained your misguided thought processes to you so many times to no avail. This time I chose to keep it succinct.
Surfthebutthole. that’s all you know. You’ve never had a conversation with me.
And This Board is still waiting.
How many Knick gms gave you watched.
Please we all want to know
Son, I watch the majority of them—as my schedule will allow.
You want my street address too?
I’ll give it up when you tell us what middle school you act as honorary assistant coach for.
Burks is better than Bullock, at least on offense, and Thibs kept him. Bullock has a PER=5 at forward, so he better be good on D. Burks PER=17, 43%3, and not bad on D. So good choice if a choice had to be made.
However, given that Bullock is still starting, maybe he got a promise for signing with Dallas, so he was leaving anyway. That’s a guess… I don’t recall what was said at the time…but I think he signed very quickly, like he wanted out.
Bullock isnt doing anything special. Kemba was a long shot. And idk why they paid him so much, he was released.
That’s a great point.
9m per isnt breaking the bank exactly but yeah: if there was any doubt before … Kemba is probably done.
But I’d balk (and did) at the Fournier signing more. The guy is showing, along with Gordon in Denver, that he’s good stats bad team.
Add regression from Julius and no progression from RJ or IQ and you get 11-12
Ha ha ha ha Ho Ho hi hi he he has ha ha
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hi hi hi Ho Ho Ho
Hi Ho haha ha ha Ho Ho haha ha hi hugs.
No progression, regression . And how does IQ help. He’s the first player to be traded.
20 gms gave you this. 11-12 is 3 gms out of 6th seed Cavs. Like they will finish better than us. You are a buttholesurfer lol …
Plenty of charmin Ultra soft cause he going deep
Al, while I’m flattered that I just taught you some new words (progression, regression) – just blindly repeating them is . . . equally nonsensical to everything you post on this board.
You think that’s what I’m doing. My point is you got nothing. It’s laughable lol. RJ is regressing. Just answer one question OK
Do you watch the Knicks ?????
One more
Have you ever watched the games????
If so tell me which ones.
Simple…….
LOL I’m chuckling as I type this. I don’t know, Al, you tell me—RJ has been better this year? By what metric?
His DRB% is improved I’ll give you that.
You speak of watching games when anyone disagree with you yet it seems you spend more time penning 10,000 word posts on this team than you actually do watching the games yourself.
This is the internet my friend. There are “statistics” you can reference. Save the assistant high school basketball spiel for your nephew’s rec league.
I liked Bullock. But I’ll take Fournier. His shooting is what we need most. Even though it’s not a great fit yet. As a team Knicks are three happy. Not helping especially since they seem to get behind early.
Fournier does have to play better D. He slacks and is late to switch. Most guys also take him off the dribble. But that’s where we miss the real Mitch. I’m a Fournier fan. But he hasn’t quite fit in yet. Biggest thing I see wrong. Is team D and the urgency to play together. It’s still a work in progress. And it really shouldn’t be.
Let be honest Knick fans RJ Barrett has been a utter disappointment. He has regressed. Every body talks how bad Kemba looks but he wasn’t the only cog in the starting lineup. RJ still can’t shoot and he is slow . Fournier had stepped his game up but RJ is giving us absolutely nothing compared to other Third round picks who in year three are putting up better numbers. I like RJ but I would start Grimes over him.
link to basketball-reference.com
You think 20 gms into a third year. Warrants this. You should take up another sport
He’s one best 2way young players in NBA. Only light fans don’t count D. Even though it’s HALF the game. Every stat has improved every yr. This yr has just begun. His shooting I would have to say is an issue. Well he shot 75% FT last yr. So means it is working for the better.
Fact you can shoot down a top3 pick. After 20 gms. That is really a Team issue. Only speaks of yourself. Please be back after all star break.
Perfect example of critics killing a 21 yr old player. Who isn’t reaching THEIR expectations. You should read his stat line for last yr. I can explain what you don’t understand. I’m sure this yr at the end it will have gotten a little better.
As much as I like Grimes. Really. Thibs second year. First adversity. Let him work it out.
Almost every stat is down this year, which undermines your argument slightly.
His DEFENSIVE +/- is -2.3. That’s a negative number. Means he’s bad.
Sure he COULD get better. But he hasn’t performed well to date 25% into the year.
Hey Al I’m not the sharpest knife in the Kitchen but I’ve been a die hard Knick fan since 1993. I’m just a fan and not a coach but one thing I can say is RJ Barrett has regressed and it’s hurting the starting lineup and Mitch gives us nothing but good defense every other game and occasional put backs and dunks. He got schooled by Jokic who is a seven footer who can shoot.Every year we have tons of cap space and all we get is stop gap players who don’t move the needle. And IQ right now is way more impactful playa than RJ Barrett who absolutely stinks and that’s just my opinion like your entitled to yours. Topping Grimes and IQ are the future and McBride. I would lose no sleep to see Mitch and RJ change addresses.
I think the Knicks FO has a good offseason overall, but the one questionable decision (at the time, not just now) was in de-prioritizing an upgrade at PG in FA. The issue wasn’t Fournier vs Bullock, but Fournier vs a true upgrade at PG. Smartly, the FO wasn’t going to give 3 years to more than 1 FA. Giving it to Fournier left no playing time for Bullock, true, but more to the point, it left no longer term money for a PG play. Walker isn’t the issue. He was an afterthought signed late in FA, short term and for very little money.
As for Bullock, I was very surprised they didn’t bring him back. I had him in the lock category (with Rose and Gibson) and thought that late season rhetoric (his and Thibs’) confirmed it. Culture, fit, etc., YES, but also because I didn’t think it would be prudent to use finite resources to fix something that wasn’t really broke. Upgrading from the weakest link is usually a better way to proceed. But the Knicks can overcome this. The discipline of this FO to their process permits some sideways movement and even a step or two back. I believe they’ll get it right.
I beg to differ. You make some good points but I wanted DeMar DeRozan who Knick fans were saying they wanted no part of but look what he is doing with Chicago and how he killed us with the mid range game recently. And Knickerbocker Al was right we should have signed Spencer Dindwidde who along with the pieces they got in the trade for Russell Westbrook are one of the biggest surprises in the East as our beloved NY Knicks are Starting to be one of the biggest disappointments being with our so called offensive additions. Demar DeRozan would have given us more stability than a RJ Barrett who is giving us absolutely nothing so it might be time for Thibs to think about benching him
I was a proponent of DeRozan (disclosure: I didn’t think he’d be as good as he’s been in CHI though).
Dinwiddie to me is a hindsight pick. Yes he’s done well so far but coming off an ACL that was a risk I get them not taking.
How players do when playing with a point guard has zero to do with How they play without one.
SAS wasn’t trading anyone to the Knicks.
Like the Bulls off Season more with 2 FA and the sweet Ball sign n trade … Knicks could have signed Schroeder on a discount year also
@Scbch – The CHI GM is a long time favorite, and the guy I wanted for the Knicks before Rose was hired. He’s a gifted talent evaluator; maybe the best. FWIW, I doubt he would have made the same moves for the Knicks that he did for the Bulls.
I meant that the Bulls trades were affordable to any team with cap space, including obviously the Knicks … For sure Karnisovas did a great job evaluating the potential fit of those players and more over of the market to retool the Bulls around Lavine so quickly.
Cannot say that he had done great with the Big men trades (Vuc Gafford…) but he took the risk to give away picks and some assets what the Knicks won’t do untill they find a franchise player to build around …
Yep, rebuilding an NBA team (like most undertakings in life) would be much easier with a crystal ball. It gets harder when one is willing to evaluate long term decisions (as good or bad) based on short term results.
DeRozan fit CHI, but didn’t fit us. CHI’s situation (unlike us, they went “all in” with Vuc last TD) was much different than ours, as was their personnel (unlike us, they could accommodate DeRozan on the defensive end, where’s he’s basically a 4 at this point in his career). Our midrange area wouldn’t be open for his exclusive use. His defense (believe it or not) would be at least as bad as Fournier’s if he had to guard perimeter players.
Dinwiddie is looking good, and, even at the time, I would have preferred a Dinwiddie (bring Bullock back) scenario to the Fournier (plus Walker) one. I’VE GOTTEN OVER IT, so should you. Sometimes, other teams make good moves.
Another thing Knick fans need to GET, is that we overachieved last year. That can be a good thing, but only if it’s built on. Our FO is trying to do that and maintain flexibility (a key in any rebuild). That may mean – yes, sorry – things don’t happen as fast as they might if we went all in and hit all the green lights.
That’s a good point. We did overachieve last yr. As the Hawks showed us in playoffs.
But the urgency to play together. And to play team D. Is not there this yr. That’s just effort. It’s not just new guys. That’s something that bothers me. And I put on Thibs.
I think most would agree last year was, to a degree, a result of overachieving.
I’m not sure I would agree with the characterization of this team as “rebuilding” one though, unless we’re using a very liberal use of the term (ie. the Lakers are in year 4 of their “rebuild” around LeBron James).
First: You don’t hire Tom Thibodeau for a rebuild. Ever.
Second: Let’s say we were to agree that this is a rebuild . . . that doesn’t exactly make things look better?
The youth of this roster is middling, at best. Arguably the worst part of this “rebuild” has been the draft return—our FA signings, regardless of how my feelings on Fournier, have actually been very very good.
DSJ and Frank N are already gone. Knox is more or less out the door. IQ and Barrett are both worse this year than last, and with Barrett in Year 3 that’s a real concern. And while Toppin has shown more this year, I don’t think anyone has been wowed by him to date.
The bad news is there’s no easy route for the Knicks to contend. But the reality that’s true for every team in the league sans a top 5-7 player on its roster.
It’s Thibs 2nd yr. 20 gms into second yr. He has only Randle, RJ, Mitch, Gibson, Knox. From previous regime. Knox don’t play and is really on his way out. Taj has always been one of his guys. SOOoooooooooooo
He only has three guys left from team he inherited. And it’s 20 gms into his second yr. And you think this is not rebuilding. Well like I said. You really should watch what you critique. Or you look like a fool lol. See I’m one of those NBA nerds who played and loves this gm. I could watch it 24/7. So please my surfer friend. You must stop outing yourself.
Knicks will be rebuilding for another two yrs minimum ………
There are 15 players on an NBA roster plus two 2way contracts in G-league. OK
There are only three players still in NY. From team Thibs took over. OK
Please get some knowledge. You can look all this up…. Oh wait. You don’t really care
Must I do it for you. ALL THE TIME
@69 –
When it’s universally predicted that a team is going to finish in the bottom 3 of the league, and they finish 4th in their conference, I would say that’s overachievement to a fairly large degree.
There are two views (or two family of views) on rebuilding. Which one you ascribe to will likely determine what you thought of the Thibs hire and where the Knicks are in the rebuilding process. Nothing personal to either guy, but I’d define the views as:
The Hinke view: You rebuild by losing, getting high picks, trading vets for more picks, flooding the roster with young talented players. Player development is achieved by “giving” out PT, which, by necessity, has to be unrestricted by any real coaching. Under this view, NEVER hire Thibs.
The West view: You rebuild by creating a winning culture, which doesn’t require a roster that’s talented or experienced enough to do a lot of it, but does require the same commitment to winning that such a roster would have, and thus at least a decent amount of winning to re-enforce the culture. Development is achieved through the culture and, by necessity, real coaching. Under this view, Thibs is a great hire.
I’ve tried to be agnostic over the years, but, going by history, I have to come down on the side of the West view. I like the Hinke view for the chances at those very high draft picks (but they’re speculative, and almost every other assumption this view rests on is garbage). Popular with fans, and some blow dried FO guys; but not with the FO guys who get trophies. Moreover, you really can’t split the difference.
The only players I consider part of any kind of young core are Barrett and the guys drafted under this regime. The others were too contaminated by the Fizdale culture to be saved. I think the Thibs’ 5 are doing fine, and it’s due mostly to getting real coaching.
That’s an interesting philosophical distinction between Hinkie/West, and I don’t disagree with the dichotomy.
Criticisms to the Hinkie approach are valid IMO.
I’ll still say with the West view that I think there’s some ambiguity as to when a team transitions from “rebuilding” to “treadmilling”—could be a matter of semantics.
Personally, I’m not as concerned with IQ or Toppin, and have seen too little of McBride and Grimes on an actual court to have an opinion one way or the other.
You certainly have to be careful of treadmilling, but also in distinguishing that from normal baselining which might involve shorter term regression.
The Rose regime came in with a 4-5 year plan (4 drafts), and, as long as they act consistent with it, I’m inclined to give them until 2023-24 to present a finished product. There are 2 more drafts, and lots of contracts expiring in 2022-23. That flexibility is why it was only 1 FA contract that extended past 2022-23. That summer is the next point when cap space is relevant, with the pro-forma payroll being Randle, Fournier, Barrett (assumed extension), Mitch (possible extension), Quickley (RSC), Toppin (RSC), Grimes (RSC), with McBride (possible 2nd round Q/O), further draft picks, and team options on Rose, Burks and Noel. As of now, very little committed $$, but lots of contractual control over potential key pieces. They are cognizant of these numbers and like them, so I expect any trade will fit into this framework. I’ll consider it a bad sign if one doesn’t.
He doesn’t understand rebuilding. He’s made that clear. And he hasn’t seen enough of the rookies. It’s so revealing lol. Some of us watch these guys from HS. The guy doesn’t watch Knick gms. He can’t possibly understand what is going on in NY.
This starting lineup with Mitch and RJ even with the defensive pluses they may give us they both are offensive liabilities. Mitch more than RJ but sometime it’s like we are playing two or three against five on some nights when two or three of your main cogs in the starting lineup give you absolutely nothing and that’s RJ Mitch and Kemba who was rightfully benched.
When are we Knicks fans going stop giving Coach Thibs a pass on his enept offense which is dump the ball to Randal and everyone stand around. This offense is worse than the Carmelo iso ball which was just as nasuating. He needs a offensive coach like Mike Woodson back on his staff because this offense only opens up when the second unit comes in but he is so stubborn because he is married to these slow footed vets who can’t shoot or creat off the dribble. This Knicks offense is ugly as Ernie’s from NBA TNT halftime show High School Prom date. And the defensive stinks as well this year so time to make a trade for a legit Super Star because Randal ain’t one he is a Robin not a Batman.
As usual Thibs is a very odd dude, so Kemba starts or doesn’t play, huh?
Doesn’t he know their is a middle option, having him come from the bench, right?
Real odd, even for a horrible coach like himself!
Thibs isn’t about options. He’s about repetition. Keep doing it his way until you finally win doing it his way.
You are either a panic guy. Or you don’t really watch this team. But I’m tired of explaining their main woes this yr. The record is real easy, simple to explain.
They are one gm under .500 (11-12). And are playing bad. But if their D was close to last yr. We’d be 15-8 easy. And all the geniuses here would go away. So again. You are a panickier, you don’t watch, you don’t know the game.
Yes two new starters need time to adjust. Yes Their D is bad. Yes we are not playing with the urgency of last yr.
This is on Thibs. But the team is playing like beaches, especially at home. Seems like the NY pressure is starting to affect them. No crowds last yr. Or did we forget that.
NY media ————
Of all the labels a fan can attach to a professional sports team, “soft” is among the most hurtful. Right now, the Knicks are soft, which is something you are not allowed to be in New York.
Gotta agree. But I know this team. And they have the players to fix this. It will take change that Thibs must make. Not just Kemba. That’s superficial. To me Randle is not leading like last yr. And Mitch is out of shape. So even if it takes a big trade. We got the pieces to work this out. In house or thru a trade.

This is what REBUILDING looks like. Get knowledge please …….
It’s pretty clear that half this board. Doesn’t really keep up with facts. But they all got smack to talk. But there are a few here. Who think by making this personal. They can hide their mindlessness, denseness, lack of intelligence, ignorance for facts.
I’m the wrong guy to take on. I got plenty of game. So try and understand this.
———————— >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Last year’s Knicks got off to a rough start that lasted well into the second half of the season, and the team had a 25-27 record after 52 games. However, New York went 16-4 the rest of the way to finish 41-31 and earn the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
And this yr the offense has been upgraded. Wether you believe it or not. I don’t get why Thibs 20 gms into his 2nd yr. Why this doesn’t compute with you. It can only be you don’t have the capacity to understand it. Again I have to research for you. I’m like your search engine for ball knowledge. Most of it is already in my head.. really. When will you learn children.
Knicks suck this year. Get over it. It’s not the end of the world.
Do They? Is That All That You Can See? The NY Knicks Have Had Potential Every Step Of The Way But Because Their Presidents (Phil Jackson) Or GM Wanted Wanted A Different Outcome Than What The Players/Coaches Were Trained To Deal With Everything Went Downhill.
Phil Jackson Could Have Win It All With Kristaps Porzingis And Carmelo Anthony But He Blew The Chance. (It Could Have Been Great But Is Over Now. It Could Have Been Great But He Lost It Somehow.) He Could Have Become The Ultimate Trifecta Winning As A Player, Coach, And President. Phil Jackson Could Have Won His Playing Days (#18) In ChampionShips. He Won Two ChampionShips As A Player, Eleven As A Head Coach “The Zen Master”, And Only Needed One ChampionShip To Become The Trifecta Of Perfection. Sure, Had He Won Five ChampionShips As President The NY Knicks Could Have Retired His #18 In ChampionShips.
What Better Way To Retire The Greatest Coach Than By Reclaiming The Greatest President Title By Winning His #18 In ChampionShips. It Could Have Been Great.
