The 2022/23 NBA regular season will tip off next month, so it’s time to start getting serious about predictions for the upcoming campaign and to continue an annual Hoops Rumors tradition.
With the help of the lines from a handful of sports betting sites – including Bovada, BetOnline, and Betway – we’re running through the predicted win totals for each of the NBA’s 30 teams, by division. In a series of team-by-team polls, you’ll get the chance to weigh in on whether you think those forecasts are too optimistic or too pessimistic.
In 2021/22, our voters went 16-14 on their over/under picks. Can you top that in ’22/23?
We’ll keep our series going today with the Central division…

Anthony Mason, Jay Williams, Anderson Varejao, Rasheed Wallace, Johnathan Bender (no injuries)
Rank if possible

Which Pacers star from each era would fit best in today’s NBA?
Mel Daniels, Rik Smits, Mark Jackson, Reggie Miller, Ron Artest, Jermaine O’Neal, Paul George, Danny Granger, or Jalen Rose
Definitely Paul George
yea i shouldnt have put him……..
Even with the success George has today I’d go with Miller, could you imagine Reggie Miller in his prime in the 3 pt era?
He’d pretty much be Buddy Hield
Which of these Central Div trios would you rather have as the core of your team if you could have them during their prime & why? Jamaal Tinsley/Danny Granger/Antonio Davis (Ind), Vinnie Johnson/Tayshaun Prince/Greg Monroe (Det), Kirk Hinrich/Patrick Williams/Horace Grant (Chi), Mo Williams/Craig Ehlo/Jarrett Allen (Cle) or Brandon Jennings/Pat Connaughton/Vin Baker (Mil)?..
1. Mo/Jarrett/Craig
2. Jamaal/Danny/Antonio
3. Brandon/Vin/Pat
4. Pistons
5. Bulls
You’re killing me.
I voted the under on the Pistons not because they didn’t get better (they absolutely did), but because they’re a bad, rebuilding team in a conference full of contenders. They still don’t really have an identity either. Not yet. Gotta love the pure talent, though.
Pacers will move Turner and Buddy. And concentrate on next yrs draft. Lottery is loaded next yr. Imo Turner can help LA immensely. AD does not want to play C. Turner is mobile and plays both ways. He takes the pressure off AD on D. Think he’s a good fit for Lakers. I can see LA going after him.
Voted everyone over except Pacers …..
