Congrats to SPURS fans everywhere.
Agree. Not a spurs fan, but I respect them a lot. Congratulations spursnation
I need to bring the Spurs to the casino with me. Luckiest Lottery team ever. Tim Duncan was picked on some strange off year and started a dynasty. Just when it was finally over, bingo, another run begins. Congrats. Them the breaks for the rest of us….
It’s BS and so is the lottery! Yes I’m salty, but it’s not even about my Magic. Detroit getting the 5th pick after 17 wins is awful. The lottery is so dumb.
Lottery certainty doesn’t stop anyone from tanking
26. Years since the luckiest team ever has had the first pick. 26 years. Cavs have had 4 #1 picks since then. Other teams have had multiple #1’s. 76ers and others. All the whining about the lottery being rigged is comical. Spurs and 2 other teams had 14% odds but the team that hadn’t picked #1 in TWENTY-SIX YEARS is the luckiest.
Wizards should draft a PF
Trade kuzma move porzingis to 4
Let the rookie PF backup zingis.
Trade todd and let go of gill?
Why do you want kuzma moved so bad?
I’m so heated over this tbh. San Antonio gets 20+ years of dominance and a dynasty. They’re bad for a year and a half and end up with the next Jordan. Meanwhile Detroit, Orlando, Charlotte, etc been struggling for a decade+. The lottery is so stupid, no other sport does it. Why would the worst team only get a 14% chance to pick #1. It’s absurd, who cares about tanking, no one cares when an NFL team does. It’s literally the smart and correct thing to do if your team is rebuilding.
Jordan? Nah.. Wemby’s a center. Kobe the closest we’ll ever come to Jordan. He’s better than Jordan, he’s the next Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
I just mean next best player in the league for a decade like Kareem, Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, etc
You forgot Bennetts name in there
You act like Detroit and Orlando haven’t JUST had the #1 overall pick…..
Last 2 drafts are relatively weak. Cade and Paolo will be all stars but not generational talent like Wemby.
Wahhhhhhhhhh…..my team didn’t win the draft lottery every single year……wahhhhhhhh
That’s how this comes across.
the NHL does a draft lottery, and now Major League Baseball is going to do a draft lottery which means the NFL is now the only League that does not do a direct Lottery
One player is 20% of your on court team. NFL its only 9% and that player is only on half the time either offense or defense so it is really 4-5% so tanking does not payoff as highly as it does in the NBA.
Big win for the Mavs and Blazers
Called Wemby to the Spurs a year ago.
I did too
Wemby isn’t ready to star yet. He needs weight and muscle. You don’t want to get him hurt. Best thing Spurs can do is get a physical 4 to protect him. Pops knows what he’s doing.
The most interesting pick to me. Is what Blazers will do. Henderson is there for them.
They could trade with Rockets. And pick up another player (KJ Martin)..Or could just trade the pick for vets
Rigged.
All of it is rigged lol
I believe it
Tim Connelly of the Timberpuppies is taking calls on the team’s #53 pick in this year’s draft.
After massively overpaying to get Gobert with their #16 pick (among other successive 1st Round picks) the Timberpuppie Brain feels that since the team has never learned how to actually make use of and develop a second round draft pick, they may as well trade off the pick and the entire Draft Room can just stay home. Based on the team’s 2022 performance, why would there be any need to bring in any additional talent for the 2023-24 season ????
They should do a lottery for picks 59-60. Now two kids dont get to get drafted.
I see silver is forcing Portlands hand. He is also rewarding Charlotte because Jordan left. Please get rid of him
