As we did with 2024’s offseason trades and the in-season swaps from 2023/24, we’ll be keeping track of all the NBA trades completed this season, updating this article with each transaction. This post can be found anytime throughout the season on our desktop sidebar under “Hoops Rumors Features,” or in our mobile menu under “Features.”
Trades are listed here in reverse chronological order, with the latest on top. So, if a player has been dealt multiple times, the first team listed as having acquired him is the one that ended up with him. Trades listed in italics have been agreed upon but are not yet official. For more details on each trade, click the date above it.
For more information on the specific conditions dictating if and when draft picks involved in these deals will actually change hands, be sure to check out RealGM.com’s breakdown of the details on traded picks.
Here’s the full list of the trades completed during the 2024/25 NBA season:
- Clippers acquire MarJon Beauchamp.
- Bucks acquire Kevin Porter Jr.
- Clippers acquire Bogdan Bogdanovic, the Timberwolves’ 2025 second-round pick, the Grizzlies’ 2026 second-round pick (43-60 protected), and their own 2027 second-round pick.
- Hawks acquire Terance Mann and Bones Hyland.
- Cavaliers acquire De’Andre Hunter.
- Hawks acquire Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, the Cavaliers’ 2027 second-round pick, the Cavaliers’ 2029 second-round pick, the Cavaliers’ 2031 second-round pick, the right to swap first-round picks with the Cavaliers in 2026 and the right to swap their 2028 first-round pick for either the Cavaliers’ or Jazz’s 2028 first-round pick (whichever is least favorable).
- Note: The terms on the 2026 swap will be extremely convoluted because other teams have the right to swap first-round picks with both Atlanta and Cleveland. Essentially, the Hawks will have the ability to swap the least favorable of their own 2026 first-round pick and the Spurs’ pick for whichever pick the Cavaliers end up with (either their own pick, the Jazz’s pick, or the Timberwolves’ pick).
Lakers acquire Mark Williams.Hornets acquire Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, the Lakers’ 2031 first-round pick, and the right to swap their 2030 first-round pick for the Lakers’ 2030 first-round pick.
This traded was voided when Williams didn’t pass a physical with the Lakers.
- Rockets acquire Cody Zeller and their own 2028 second-round pick.
- Hawks acquire the draft rights to Alpha Kaba.
- Bucks acquire Kyle Kuzma, Jericho Sims, either the Pistons’, Suns’, or Warriors’ 2025 second-round pick (whichever is second-most favorable; from Wizards), and the Jazz’s 2026 second-round pick (top-55 protected; from Spurs).
- Wizards acquire Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, the draft rights to Mathias Lessort (from Knicks), the right to swap their own 2028 first-round pick for the Bucks’ 2028 first-round pick or the Trail Blazers’ 2028 first-round pick (whichever is least favorable), and cash ($1MM; from Bucks).
- Knicks acquire Delon Wright, the draft rights to Hugo Besson (from Bucks), and cash ($2MM; from Bucks).
- Spurs acquire Patrick Baldwin Jr. and cash ($4.13MM; from Bucks).
- Note: If the Trail Blazers haven’t conveyed their lottery-protected 2025 first-round pick by 2027 and it lands outside the lottery in 2028, it would be ineligible to be swapped; in that scenario, the Wizards would simply have the right to swap their own 2028 first-round pick for the Bucks’ 2028 first-round pick.
- Hornets acquire Jusuf Nurkic and either the Suns’, Wizards’ (9-30 protected), Magic’s, or Grizzlies’ 2026 first-round pick (whichever is least favorable).

- Raptors acquire P.J. Tucker, the Lakers’ 2026 second-round pick (from Heat), and cash ($3.5MM; from Heat).
- Note: If the Mavericks’ first-round pick lands in the top two of the 2027 draft, the Heat’s 2028 second-round pick would be sent to Charlotte and would no longer be in play for the Jazz.
- Pistons acquire KJ Martin, the Bucks’ 2027 second-round pick, and the Mavericks’ 2031 second-round pick.

Let’s see if nuggets are bold to make a trade…
How about you be bold and come up with a smart trade that actually makes sense.
Only bold trade they could make is get rid of payroll to have flexibility. If they could flip porter jr for a expiring contract like Simmons. Or see what team will give them a good offer for Murray. I never been a fan of Murray.
Arc, This is a troll comment right? Murray literally had a torn ACL and came back and was robin to Jokic’s Batman 2 years ago? He’s not going anywhere. The best possible trade is the one I suggested a few weeks prior MPJ and Zeke Nnaji and Dario Saric plus 2031 1st unprotected for Butler, even though I don’t think they would want to include that 2031 1st unless it’s for someone that fits jokic’s timeline and not Butler’s.
MPJ is a bad contract so Heat is taking on 2 more years of money of $78 million more in contract for a late 1st round pick. Zeke has done anything too so why take his bad contract on top of that. You got to be a Nuggets fan to think the Heat want 2 bad contracts that takes up a lot of money for 1 future 1st round pick. So explain why the heat would make that trade?
I agree that this would be a great trade. Maybe also flip Nanji for Gary Harris to free up time for Kelel Ware. Orlando also needs the size.
How is it a great trade for the Heat?
1) I think majority of the trade proposals that other posters on here submit, you tend to dismiss it automatically right away which is fair but still you need to think outside the logical box. Why do teams make trades? To get better right? Nuggets getting Butler maximizes Jokic’s prime. Remember when Cuban regrettably let go Nash to PHX in Dirk’s prime? I see other teams not wanting to do that with their franchise players. See Giannis for Dame, See Luka for Kyrie and countless others.
2) MPJ is still a commodity in this league. What is Miami known for? Famously producing and progession players who have no business of being in the NBA. The game is about pace and space. Butler doesn’t have an outside shot and MPJ gives them added length on the front line along with some real outside shooting. MPJ is a 40% career 3 point shooter. Yes, his defense is bad and he doesn’t rebound but that’s not what he gets paid to do. He gets paid to shoot 3’s which he has done the last three years. Also, you forget that Erik Spoelstra is one of the best coaches in the NBA and will maximize MPJ’s value. I think Zeke is just a filler and so is Saric. The real value is Butler’s age 35 season and past playoff performances versus MPJ’s untapped potential.
Honestly, I think you are really worried that Nuggets could get Butler and pass up the Warriors. Every team in the West that wants to make a trade, you have shot down for some reason. First Lakers, Nuggets, up next will be PHX or Houston.
The trades of high price players is over now since the new CBA restricts how much you can spend. Nuggets are a good example. They have been handicap by the new CBA and lost a few good bench players. Nuggets were on a road to a dynasty until the new CBA tied them up. Nokic is so good that any player playing in starting line up with him increases their production. I don’t want Butler on warriors for the same reason it handicaps them in the future. problem with many of these trades is how does it help both teams? I am just saying best for Nuggets is to clear payroll so they can have more flexibility in the future. I would love to see Butler go to lakers which means Lakers trade away their bench and picks.
I do agree the new CBA is going to result in fewer and fewer trades in the future. I’m interested to see how many of these 2nd apron team like Milwaukee are going to improve their rosters for this year. Also, I’d laugh if Lakers get Jimmy Butler, they can totally be rebranded as the social security team considering all 3 of their best players are over the age of 30 lmao
You still didn’t answer the question throughout like 3 full paragraphs lol.
Why would THE HEAT want to make that trade just for a late 1st round pick?
They’d rather have the cap space to extend jovic & Jacquez than to spend it on a guy who doesn’t fit their system & that they don’t wanna pay , MPJ doesn’t rebound or play defense so he wouldn’t be a good fit for Miami.
Butler for MPJ & Naji. Or 3 team deal(Butler to nuggets, Beal to heat, MPJ and Naji to suns) now you can stop yelling at your laptop big man.
Denver: Jimmy Butler + Nikola Jovic
Heat: Michael Porter Jr, Zeke Nanji, Dario Saric
Who says no to this? I think this is reasonable.
the heat says no
I also think the Heat say no, but more because Jovic was thrown in than for the deal itself. Porter + Nnaji + Cancar’s contract + 2031 1st with minimal protections isn’t a *great* trade, but it’s a functional one.
Butler is leaving in FA at the end of the season. Riley has made it clear they’re not giving him the max. You can’t let him walk for nothing. Gotta make a trade, even if it’s not the best possible.
Sign and trade off season. I’m sure Jimmy will take a haircut for a longer deal. Still be a hefty price tag with how many teams having that much cap space these days.
S&Ts don’t really get you much unless it’s a megastar in their prime.
