The Suns will pursue unrestricted free agent shooting guard Ray Allen, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. There's mutual interest, and Allen would consider the Suns even if they don't re-sign Steve Nash, Wojnarowski says. Allen is a former client of Lon Babby, who worked as an agent before taking over basketball operations for the Suns.
The Heat have been linked to Allen of late, but they're not the frontrunners, Wojnarowski writes. ESPN.com's Stephen A. Smith said earlier today there's a good chance both Allen and fellow unrestricted free agent Kevin Garnett return to the Celtics.
Maybe the Suns should resign Nash and add Allen and maybe find a way to get Josh Smith (or otherwise sign Ilyasova) and try to make one last run.
Not near enough for a run
Add Allen, resign Nash. Trade the 13th pick for the 21-22 from Boston and draft Royce White and Tony Wroten Jr. Infuse the young talent with the old talent and sign another solid FA. GO SUNS!
absolutley, maybe get a 2nd round pick from celts too.
21/22 is plenty for the Suns 13th in this draft class. The Suns need multiple players not just one player.
