4:09pm: Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports confirms (via Twitter) that the two teams Camby is visiting in the coming days, the Heat and Knicks, are the frontrunners to land him.
3:23pm: If the questions I received in yesterday's live chat were any indication, Rockets fans aren't entirely on board with the direction of the team's offseason so far. It seems that stance may extend to the team's free agents as well, as a source tells Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports Florida (Twitter link) that Houston is no longer Marcus Camby's preferred destination. According to Tomasson, Camby's tune has "changed greatly" this week, and he's now wary about re-signing with the Rockets, since the team appears to be rebuilding.
We heard earlier today that Camby will visit the Heat this weekend and the Knicks shortly thereafter, with no Rockets meeting planned at the moment. Tomasson speculates (via Twitter) that the Heat may prefer to use their mini mid-level exception on Camby rather than Ray Allen, as they called Camby at 12:01am when free agency opened. Signing Allen with the $3.09MM exception and seeking a sign-and-trade for Camby is also a possibility, Tomasson adds (Twitter link).
Camby is believed to be considering the Rockets, Heat, Knicks, Spurs, Mavericks, and Nets.

Bulls should work a sign and trade and swap asik for camby and leuer
Asik already agreed with the rockets he’s no longer with the Bulls
HE COULD STILL BE INVOLVED IN A SIGN AND TRADE
asik is a rfa so bulls can match. so currently he is still with the bulls.
To the Sixers now that they amnest Brand
Asik signed an offer sheet. Bulls can still match or try to work out a sign and trade to get something in return
PLEASE sign with the Knicks. He’d be an absolutely perfect fit when Chandler/Amar’e are in foul trouble. Doesn’t require the ball – check. Plays D – check. Rebounds well and hustles – check.
