Donte DiVincenzo‘s new two-year contract with the Warriors includes a 15% trade kicker, Hoops Rumors has learned. Golden State signed DiVincenzo using a $4.5MM chunk of its taxpayer mid-level exception, leaving a leftover portion of $1,979,000 on that MLE. DiVincenzo’s second-year player option is worth $4,725,000.
Here are a few more details on recently signed contracts:
- Bruce Brown‘s two-year deal with the Nuggets is worth the full taxpayer mid-level exception ($6,479,000), with the maximum allowable 5% raise for his second-year player option ($6,802,950), Hoops Rumors has learned.
- T.J. Warren‘s one-year contract with the Nets is worth the veteran’s minimum, Hoops Rumors has confirmed. Warren will earn a $2,628,597 salary while Brooklyn takes on a cap hit of $1,836,090 for the veteran forward.
- As expected, the new one-year contracts Drew Eubanks (Trail Blazers) and Theo Pinson (Mavericks) are also worth the veteran’s minimum. Both deals are guaranteed.
Why did Warren sign with Nets?
His value is one year $6 million
How do you know? Who offered him that?
Warren’s health must be worse than advertised if he only got minimum offers and the Nets was the best of the bunch. Hope he proves everyone wrong and makes a nice comeback this year.
To replace Payton II, Warriors should trade for him in January 2023
Warriors regular season games will feature 40 national TV appearances?
Donte DiVincenzo replacing Damion Lee is such a massive upgrade there’s not enough words for it
He is replacing Porter not lee. Their 2nd round pick is replacing lee.
Role wise, I think Donte is more of a replacement for GP2 than for Porter.
I only pick Porter because he is like Porter with a 3 point shot. I am looking at Moody being the GP2 replacement. Plays solid defense and is always around the basket.
No, youre both wrong and I was right from the start: DLee was SG, Donte is a SG. Why argue otherwise? Donte will NOT be playing center minutes like Porter.
How is 6’4″ shooting guard replacing Otto Porter, who was playing CENTER??? Insane take. You are flat out extremely wrong when you argue this.
Ryan Rollins is a PG who is “replacing” Chiozza, our literally only true backup PG last year, which for “reasons” was a 2-way scrub.
Di Vicenzo is now replacing JTA, Lee, GP2 Otto & Bjelica.
Lacob is saving some dollars by playing the rooks a lot more in the 2nd team till february TD … Think they need 2 combo vets (Bledsoe/Griffin)
they have no money to sign either one of them. Neither player will bring anything to GSW team that a rookie player will not give them.
Ask Kerr if he prefers to rely on 20 year old guys to go get a chip than Bledsoe/Griffin on a minimum vet … Kuminga nor Moody play in the finals so better developp them asap in the SL.
Why am I the only who one who sees that Carmelo Anthony (0 rings and hungry for one) is the best replacement for Otto/Iggy?
ARC 2 saying “GSW has no money” dude whats wrong with you this morning? Buddy, thats a lie and you know it. We are #1 in spending in NBA and Lacob will always spend, never cheap out. Tax penalties mean ZERO to us…
So the Warriors have a chunk of MLE money left that would cover a veteran minimum contract of a guy with 4 years experience or less. I’m not sure if you can use MLE money to partially pay a player – if not then most of the guys that people have been speculating about (Aldridge, Hernangomez, etc) are not going to be MLE eligible for the Warriors.
