Right now, Middleton‘s $34 million player option next year makes me nauseous.
Free agency ain’t what it used to be…
Typical pedestrian group in the post-FA era. If anything, it reflects a drop from even that level. Eliminate the RFA’s and the geriatric guys, what’s here? A few good (below All Star level) C’s. Outside of that, Murray, Ingram and Randle (maybe Caruso) are the only guys that I would even discuss a 4 year/9 figure deal with. All that, and we’re still a year away.
